"This hotel is quite good! The front desk staff was nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious—my granddaughters loved the pancake machine. It was great that there was a pool table so I taught my granddaughters to play pool. The room itself had plenty of space and the ventilation was very quiet. My only issue was the refrigerator motor which was very noisy."

"Nice facility located in walkable neighborhood. No amenities, but it is a boutique facility afterall. Have stayed once before and will use again. I think that it's best features are room size and shower. I rate them a solid five stars on those features. "

"Suited my basic needs ! And the price was lower than most other options. The building is newly renovated, and the room was small but clean & comfortable. Once I was in the room: all good. But externally: the "lobby" is negligible, the "breakfast" is a to-go bag of uninteresting snacks, it's a so-so sketchy neighborhood, a 10-15 minute walk to a subway station. the staff are helpful, but difficult to understand (heavy Indian accents)"

"Front desk staff were rude and dismissive. Rooms were terrible. The bed was insanely TERRIBLE. It creaked and sounded like it was going to break. The mattress was full of lumps and sinking holes. Can't believe this was acceptable in any way. Bathroom was the only descent part. Yet there were no hand towels, ever. And getting extra towels was like pulling teeth. There was no option to fold out suitcase. Front desk said they have NO LUGGAGE RACKS! So it was a miserable stay and...

"I loved this hotel. Firstly, it is very unique, similar to your usual hotels, but here, they make it feel like home. Staff is very welcoming, Jessica and Christian were always able to answer any questions and they made my stay in NY very easy. They figure out if you need anything before you ask them for anything. I will definitely be booking here again the next time I come back to NY! "

It is an old, tired, dreary and run down ‘renovated’ tenament building, The sink drain didn’t work, the walls were stained and the mini fridge turned out not to be working with spoiled food in the morning. Expedia apparently did not vet this property and had the audacity to charge $212.00. I arrived at 8:00 pm to the hotel after a long day of travel. It was too late to find another nearby property. "The rooms are simplistic, but adequate for traveller. Bed very comfy and showers decent and water is hot. Breakfast is ideal to keep you going muffins, bagels tea or coffee in a small basement area at the hotel."
