"Our stay in room 321 was a great experience... just too short!! The balcony with an ocean view was so relaxing... also enjoyed the short walk to the water. The room was spotless, lovely coastal colors.. And the staff was very helpful and courteous."

"Olga was great and checked us in early as the room was ready, thank you Olga! Breakfast was plentiful and filling, the warm apple cider and cookie in late afternoon in the lobby was nice as it was chilly outside, though it did seem one guest had taken up week long residence in the common lounge with feet up on one of the nice leather couches under a blanket for most of the day. Said blanket reserving the couch by the fire when they weren’t using it. Guess there’s a fine line to walk on asking...

"I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. Lisa, the innkeeper, was very helpful and friendly. Beth, the Manager and breakfast chef was super hospitable. With the beach just a short walk away...we...
