"After staying at about 12 hotels across Asia and US this year, this was by far the best trained, most friendly and helpful staff I have encountered. The actual hotel was lovely, modern, new and fresh. The room was very comfortable (Corner King) with a large sofa, table for Dijon’s or working, USB-C ports, a well laid out bathroom with a massive shower. "The room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed our 3 night stay as a family of 4. The only issue was with our breakfast booking. We had pre booked breakfast for 4 guests, but on the last morning we were advised that breakfast was only included for 2 people. This was a little disappointing and caused some confusion. Other than that, the stay was enjoyable and the hotel met our expectations."

"I have stayed at quite a few luxury hotels and the Sofitel never fails to impress!
Unfortunately due to an accident, we lost power, however the generator jumped into action quite quickly, With unprecedented work noise outside due to the accident, I was offered a relocation to another room, however at that time of night I asked for and was provided with earplugs. Eventually fell to sleep and slept well.
As an apology, even though it was their fault, I have been offered a free room...

"We loved the proximity to the park but the whole experience was spoiled because each time any room turned on the tap, the pipework screeched like a call bell. This happens all night. Staff were very quick to help move us to a quiet floor and they were very obviously aware of the problem so I can't complain about the staff but the manager needs to sort out the problem."

"The breakfast and staff are always lovely. This was our second time staying and the room we had on the 4th floor was not great for sleeping in - unfortunately the surrounding venues/hotels had music playing until 3.30am that could be heard in our room (next time ear plugs are a must being a light sleeper).
Also disappointingly the pool heater was not as good as last year - it felt cool to touch whereas last year it was warm.. just the little extras that make a hotel excellent."
