"We had a great time! Location was convenient to both Mackinaw City and Cheboygan. Dog friendly with room to let them play and a great trail to walk. This is an eclectic place with pop culture Easter eggs sprinkled throughout.This was a comfortable place for a quiet weekend. "

"It was very clean, plenty of space, and an absolutely amazing view ! Great little fire pit and chairs. The driveway could be marked for easier view since the GPS does not take you exactly to the house. The kayaks were in the garage but there were no instructions to access them. Other than that it was a great stay! "

"Very spacious with a large yard for the kids to play in. Quiet side of Burt Lake which we enjoyed."

"The dishwasher didn’t work, I tried to notify our contact, but I wasn’t able to get ahold of them. There is a laundry facility that shares the driveway, and sometimes their trucks block you in. We did enjoy our stay."

"Great property, had trouble getting in and the Host answered immediately and helped us out! Amazing view of the lake and bridge, plus it was very clean on the inside"

"This place is great. The cabin was clean and adorable and stocked more than i expected. The location on the beach gives and incredible view and you can watch the sunrise over the water from the porch. Will stay again "

"The fridge froze everything solid. There was no broom to sweep the dirt out of the cabin. But the location was beautiful. The cabin was beautiful and it was extremely relaxing. We didnt have no wood for the burn pit which the add on line saud it was provided. I would stsy again but i would definitely ask for a broom and then make sure the fridge worked properly. "

"Beach front cabin could not be beat for location and the cabin was clean and a great home base for all things Mackinaw city within walking distance, including the ferry to Mackinac Island. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! Access to the amenities of the nearby hotels was also a nice bonus, although some of the hotel facilities are a bit dated and have some deferred maintenance. "It is always a pleasure staying at Lakeside. The lake was lovely and we were able to sneak a campfire in between the rain storms. Make sure to read the notes that Ritchie sends your way as it spells out exactly what you need to bring - trash bags, shampoo, etc. On VRBO, the pet fee was not very clear. It read as 25 per pet not per night, so that was a surprise as we stayed 2 nights. That may be because I booked via mobile, though, and it did not show correctly. I was unable to add a pet to my...

"We arrived to our beautiful rental greeted by a lovely card, banana bread and other treats. The directions for the property and check in were very easy to follow. The area is very peaceful and we were able to take a walk down by the lake and view the bridge. Mary Lynn communicated very well and has the home well stocked and very clean. We love the area, it’s a beautiful property and would highly recommend "

"Our third yearly stay at the cabin. Recommend you try the Pond Mill Farms, Legs Inn, Good Heart General Store, and Trillium Woods Coffee shop. Cabin is always clean and comfortable, especially the evening fires in the stone wall fireplace. "

"Love the fact it was a duplex with two kitchens. Each bedroom had their own bathroom. Need some TLC of minor fixes. We had a great time using this as base camp!"

"This will be our "Go To" place to stay in Mackinaw. By far the best place to stay if you like privacy, convenience and the perfect location. We slept 6 with no issues. Would be amazing for a couple. We will be back. "
