"From the communications with the host before the stay to the stay itself to check out, this was an amazing trip. We stayed here in the winter and the house was warm and cozy. The house is equipped with all a family needs for a restful and enjoyable stay- comfy beds, lots of games, etc. The power flickered during a snow storm (the whole town lost power for 2-3 minutes) and the boiler clicked off. The property manager was at the house in less than 10 minutes! James quickly set things right...

"Place was clean. Several issues reported by guests that were not addressed. Screens were still broken.Front door landing has settled with over a 10 inch drop. Bottom step is an unstable stack of cement blocks. Toilet was not repaired from last guests comments.Hard to navigate safely. Air conditioning worked well. Fire pit was so rusted, unsafe to use. Location is great, needs some TLC."

The unit was cheerful and comfortable for three adults and the kitchen was well equipped for the light meals we had there (note to host: need a couple of potholders and some hooks or towel bars in the bathrooms). "Kitchen could use a k cup coffee maker and large frying pan. Light bulb on microwave was out. Clock on stove was broken and the stove said hot surface even when it was never turned. Upstairs toilet kept running. Basement carpet had some stains. All just minor things that need attention. Overall really loved the place. Hope to come back next year!"

"I could not stay there during the arctic snowstorm of 2026. I did stop by to check it out. It remained unshoveled for the days I would have had it. Inside was quaint, good layout, natural light from windows. Modern large shower and super clean. Unwalkable because of piled up snow but restaurants, grocery, sufficient. I had to eat the cost of the unused week and wished we could have worked out a plan to return at another time. That would have made it a 5 star rating. "
