"Stayed for one night at the Robin Hood Inn while visiting friends in the area. The check in was quick and we were given a friendly welcome. The room was fairly small but suited us perfectly (2x people), it had an en suite and usual tea making facilities and tv. The room was nicely decorated, comfortable, and clean. We didn't eat in the pub this visit, but there was food available which looked good. Considering we were in a pub I didn't hear any noise from downstairs, but then it was a Tuesday...

"Second visit and the hotel coverall was very good. However, the weather was very warm and so was the room with no air conditioning. Unfortunately the windows could only be partly opened due to security cables. Only a duvet was provided but far too warm for use. A sheet would have been good but not provided. A fan was provided but not that useful. So overall sleep difficult. "

Parking easy and beautiful building. Rooms modern but somehow felt ‘right’ for the era. Only negative is rooms are small and a sleeping head is very close to WC . Problem not for most but I get up a lot. The joint on bed was noticeable but just meant could not cuddle. Would definately stay again...
