"Rented this home for U of I graduation. It is conveniently located - just about 5 minute drive to campus. Neighborhood is quaint and quiet. House had ample space and the kitchen had adequate amenities. Plenty of bath towels, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, paper towels supplied. We hung out in the backyard which had a nice patio table and chairs. Charming house in a charming, walkable area. We would certainly stay here again. "

"Was perfect place to stay for my nieces graduation. We had a lot of family in town and rented both this one and the one next door. Had more than enough room for everyone. Ours was clean and beds were comfortable."

"My friends and I needed a place to stay for a wedding downtown and this was the perfect place! We loved having a full bath on each of the 3 floors and appreciated how quiet and residential the area was. It was a 5-10 minute drive to everything we needed. We were able to get groceries nearby, walk to restaurants, and felt very safe. Finding parking was a breeze. The house itself was perfect for our needs. One thing to note is one of the "bedrooms" is located at the back of the top floor landing...

"The owner was absolutely fabulous. Very responsive and helpful. Pleasant and made the whole process easy and smooth. The house itself was very cool and very well appointed. Bedrooms or comfortable kitchen had everything you could need. Family friendly it seems that they thought of everything. Excellent location. Well fenced in the yard. Will definitely return."

"Came for U of I commencement. House provided adequate space and our stay was fine. Somewhat disappointed in lack of care given to the yard. Would have wanted to spend more time outside. Overall our stay was good."

"We had such a great time with the arcade and gaming tables. The hosts were so accommodating and we enjoyed many a great meal around the dining table which accommodated all five of us including 3 generations! We will definitely try to stay again if they aren't already booked. "

"We already miss this beautiful house, its spaciousness, its quirks, and all of its modern amenities. "

"At the property to be able to attend my high school son‘s graduation. He lives in champaign with his dad.The house was clean accessible. It was less than 10 minutes away from every destination that we need to attend. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe.They were little things that would be helpful like having a place to hang up towels and wash clothes after using the shower, maybe a couple of lamps so that the only light in the house wasn’t the overhead lights. "

"The enclosed yard for our dog was good to have. Gas fireplace is nice. If you are not a fan of memoy foam bed you will want to consider different location. "

"The College Town Cottage is lovely. My friends and I had a great time and were charmed by by the eclectic decor and cozy furnishings. We felt comfortable and safe and CU offers plenty of options for food, entertainment and adventures. All of the chargers for technology were greatly appreciated. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The hosts were very responsive on the rare when we needed something or asked for a recommendation. We would definitely stay again."

"Charming, historic, craftsman style home. I loved that the owners did not alter the original hardwood floors, trim & kitchen built-in cabinets. The creeking floors added to the nostalgic charm. Clean interior. Every bedside table had ports available for charging any electrics, that was a very nice convenience. The bathroom tub & shower could be updated to have a more fresh/clean appearance, but overall this home was a very nice place to stay & in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. We arrived late...

"We were dreading the hectic of graduation weekend, but really enjoyed a relaxing stay at Carol's. We grilled in the lovely back yard. We so appreciated the quiet of the cute neighborhood that was so close to campus. The bakery down the street has AMAZING cookies. "
