"The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. The place was fair away about 20 minutes from Florence but there are plenty taxis available, if you drive a car there is also a lot spots available for parking. The property is great just needs a little be of TLC on the gardens, nice swimming pool, Claudia the property manager was fantastic, she did her best to accommodate us on every details. Monica was friendly and helpful...room was clean ....air conditioning welcome....Breakfast.....was ok but never had to go to another premises for it (was at a cafe round the corner which wasn't explained when booking). "The room itself was fine. There is no elevator so we had to drag our luggage up the dark stair well. Apparently, there is a cooking school next door that gets quite loud when there are groups of people inside making pasta. They have no one at the facility so they can’t store your luggage. We only stayed one night prior to flying out of Pisa, but the staff helped us store luggage before check in, recommended lunch, arranged an early airport shuttle, and provided breakfast items we could eat prior to their regular service at 8:30am. Super helpful! The wifi was inadequate in our room, which made online check-in for flights infeasible. We noticed the next morning that their main lobby had a strong signal. Good AC."
