"The is a charm to the property and the dining experience. The dogs and cat were a plus for our animal loving family. We initially reserved for 2 nights but had a change in flights and could only stay one night. While we knew it was non-refundable, there was no communication from the staff despite our messaging them ahead of time."

"We loved this hotel. There are 2 hot tubs outside which were very enjoyable on a cold day. The room is simple but clean. Breakfast is served in the cabin next to the hotel and it was very good. There aren’t many restaurants around the area so make a reservation at Mika- that may have been the best meal we had in Iceland. They make their own chocolate so get the best chocolate cake you’ve ever had."

"Stayed here for a night as a couple - absolutely LOVED it. Air in the bubble room was cool inside (despite it being sunny and warm outside). Linens were super high quality. No one else there; it was off-season (May). We only had four hours of darkness, but the trees provided shading and it was easy to get a great night sleep. Bathrooms & showers are < 1 minute walk away at the service hut. Free WiFi and coffee at the hut. Self check in. To address concerns we read in other reviews (1) Hot shower...

"Very modern and nice little house in the middle of nowhere. We were very lucky with the northern lights. The windows in the roof are cool and something unique. Please note that the key box was frozen (end of October) and therefore we had problems to open it. A few more hooks in the bathroom would be a nice addition. All in all we had a very nice and unique stay. "

"There are games and chessboard in the cottage, so children were happy and busy while i could cook. "

"Staff is lovely. Very picturesque setting. Ice cream was delicious especially the licorice flavor. Neighbors were noisy but once they finally settled in after midnight we had a good sleep. Cute farm dog. Chubby lab will take your food if you leave it outside by the door to keep cool. 😉 "

"Mooi en nieuw chalet. Was brandschoon en aangenaam warm. Uitzicht is prachtig, zeker tijdens het ochtendgloren. We zaten in 10A. Hottub was koud bij aankomst en pas op temperatuur aan het einde van de avond. We hadden ook geen warm water. De volgende ochtend was alles warm. "
