"The bathroom felt quite dated and is in need of a refresh. Additionally, we experienced issues with the central air conditioning; it wouldn't regulate properly and stayed on high. We had to constantly manually toggle it on and off just to maintain a comfortable temperature in the room."

"Hotel seems to be a refurbished older hotel- you can tell that things were kind of bandaged rather than gutted and replaced. Holes in the walls where pictures/old headboards were, plastic tile walls overtop then original shower walls, old AC vents, damaged wall coverings on corners. It just wasn't really Crowne Plaza standards honestly, but for a quick night stay it would be worth it for the right price. Its also convenient having a restaurant, although more food options would be nice."

"Limited staff means you’ll be waiting for someone to staff the front desk. Needed to use a dryer, there’s only 1, and it’s non-functioning. Room was just fine, one of the light fixtures didn’t work so the room was fairly dark unless you turn on a bright light in the headboard that projects upward. Couldn’t find an ice machine so needed to ask the bar for ice (which of course they provided)."

"The front desk clerk on day shift was super helpful and friendly. She recommended restaurants and things to do on the island. Night shift clerk wasn't nearly as friendly. There is very little parking at the hotel and it is tight, not good for big vehicles. Most parking is one street over in the overflow lots. The cleaning staff woke us up well before 8 am talking extremely loud in the hallway repeatedly, not just once. At home we get up early and prefer to be able to sleep in on vacay. ...

"I loved the old school vibe with the urban style incorporated into it. I think they did well captivating the original 1960’s feeling while also being very up to date. The vibe quite honestly reminded me of the old TV show, the Jetsons(unfortunately there are no flying cars). On top of the wonderful service and nice clean vibe, they were also one of the best options in the area in terms of cost. I really enjoyed myself and will definitely be staying here again when I find myself in the area."

"This is the third time we have stayed here to start an annual vacation in the Charleston area. The hotel was great on our first stay and still is. Our room had a slick design and was very comfortable. The hotel’s location is convenient for eating and shopping in Mount Pleasant, but also allows easy access to Charleston by car. It is also fairly priced."
