"This place has CLASSIC northern Wisconsin charm. We loved the fish, moose bear themes everywhere. Beds were snuggly on our cool nights. The kitchen was stocked the best we have seen for a getaway cabin. Only one thing missing-cheese grater! The living room is narrow and small, so if you had a bigger group on a bad weather day it would be tight. Lake access is across the road. This was a great location for biking, hiking, star gazing. Fabulous quilt store nearby. "

"It was the perfect size for my husband and I. I think any more people would be crowded. The bedrooms are very small and the bed was not comfortable. We fished off the dock a caught a lot of fish. The neighbors are closer than we expected (with barking dogs) which was an inconvenience at times. It’s not the properties problem i understand that. The driveway is very tight and would not fit a trailer. Overall it’s a cute little cabin!"

"Still like brand new! Not having cell service I couldn't ask questions if there was wifi availability. It would be nice to have something there for reference, we did figure everything else out. Beds not the most comfortable. The address listed did not get us there using Google map, I searched Gooch's bar and found the property. Bar is very good! Really liked the quietness around us!"

"Great location. House was very clean and organized. Had good supply of cooking equipment. Beautiful lake property Did not use the basement at all. Felt unsure about the stairs without a hand rail. "

"GPS directed us to the property. Convenient parking. Cabin is old, as described. Everything clean and in working condition. Way more space than we needed. We had the windows open for lake breezes during the day and kicked on the heat to take the chill out of the cabin in the morning. Kitchen was stocked for preparing meals. Groundskeepers are friendly and attentive. Waking to loon calls beats city noises! We will check here for availability in the future. "

"My husband and I took our 4 kids to Wisconsin for a weekend getaway. The weather wasn’t ideal but the cabin was great. It was big and spacious and the kids loved playing foosball and pool. The water frontage was great; however, it was too chilly to enjoy it. The place was clean and spacious and we all really enjoyed it. The area was quiet too. The place looks like it would be perfect in the summer. "

"We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at the Northwoods cabin! The neighborhood surrounding the cabin was quiet and peaceful so I took advantage of that and went for many walks!Additionally my kids kayaked and paddle boarded in the lake in the backyard. Luckily there was a boat rental, and we were able to rent a pontoon for the day! We had beautiful weather and were able to check out the chain of lakes.
