"Cheryl was an incredible host. We arrived around 530pm and she was there to greet us. The room was immaculate, large, and very clean. Bathrooms had towels, soaps. She showed us where she had teas, a small fridge and water. The main character was her breakfast. Quiche, pancakes, syrup, jam, croissants. All home made by Cheryl. Amazing, delicious. If I could rate her place higher than 10 I would!"

"North Star was so beautiful . We had an ocean view room which was amazing ( thank you Mrs MacDonald for the upgrade) . All the staff were awesome especially Colin and Justin who own this wonderful resort. All the staff never stopped seeing that everyone was well looked after. Hope one day to go back for longer, already miss the place."

"Could not open the window in our room and there was no air exchange to get fresh air. It was very musty and had an unpleasant smell. We had clean towels but the service staff left the old dirty towels from the previous guests hanging on the back of the washroom door. The carpet in the stairwells is stained and dirty and has a wet and mouldy smell. Both my wife and I got sick with sore throats and pinkeye after our stay. Breakfast was included but there were no options to choose from, we provided...

"We had a nice stay in one of the hotel rooms. Staff were very nice. We didn’t actually golf, we just wanted to stay outside Sydney on our trip. The room was clean, we had a little issue opening the room door but the staff helped us out. The bathroom door didn’t lock or latch properly but we were able to manage that."

"Breakfast was the only good thing, sheets were clean, managed to sleep Room was not the cleanest and lacking maintenance"

"The owner\hostess was rude and obsequious. She has a footwear issue…..and offered used slippers as an alternative. The physical plant was fine. This is not a hotel….it is her and her yapping dogs home. I don’t pay $300 for a lecture."

"The bathroom was filthy, there was black hairs all over the rim of the sink, scum in the bathroom sink. The bathtub barely drained after a shower, bathroom floor was filthy. Pretty disappointing."
