"I've stayed at this hotel many times over the years (starting back in the 1990s), including before it became a Red Roof Inn (it used to be a "mom and pop" called the Herkimer Motel). It has always been well maintained, and its an affordable place to stay in the area, I use it as a jumping off point to go to Glimmerglass Opera and Cooperstown. "This hotel is beautiful. The dining options are many and the pool and gym are excellent. When we checked in the front desk gave us ear plugs because of construction going on. Luckily it didn’t bother our sleep at all! Every employee we interacted with was lovely! "
