"We loved everything about this property!! The location was walking distance to the Old Town and the staff was so friendly & kind, especially the front desk personnel: Hana, Dejan Tomislav ( Tommy ) and the gentleman with the mustache. "Comfortable beds, great location, loved the apartment perks - refrigerator, stove, & washer within unit. The futon bed was comfortable - we didn't open it fully but used it as a twin bed and there was an additional king size bed in the unit. Just a heads up, as the hotel explains, there is no lift. The stairs are narrow & steep. Just mentioning in case this is a concern for anyone."

"If you're looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with character, then I highly recommend Hotel Mrak. It is well-appointed and modern with friendly, helpful staff. It's located in a small street in the old town, close to many sites and a 5 mins walk from a bus stop. If I return to Ljubljana, I'd happily stay here again. Many thanks to all the staff who made it a lovely stay. "

"Lovely place to stay but although 400 years old it’s like any other new hotel… This was the only thing that was disappointing as the staff and breakfast was lovely. It is also in the pedestrian zone so if you have lots of luggage it can be a tough walk."
