"Our room had crumbs around the microwave and on the floor/appeared to only have a very minimal clean. There were hairs in the bed that made us unsure if the sheets had actually been cleaned or changed. The toilet bowl lid did wasn't the correct fit so it sat sideways on top. Our bathroom had paint chips everywhere again looking like it hadn't been swept or cleaned. "We like our stay at Best Western Escondido. It has a good location, close to the freeway and close to Vista and Carlsbad. The buffet breakfast is also great. Our room is clean and we are close to the vending machine and ice too. Only thing is that you have to request for lotion in the front desk."
