"We were an adult family group of n Sicily for the first time and Villa Consiglio was the perfect place to explore from. The Villa, pool and its many terraces enjoy views towards Palermo and Cefalu which could be easily reached by car or train. The villa was quiet and away from the centre but just a few minutes to the town by car. The owners went to great lengths to welcome us and Carlo was always available to deal with any questions, to guide us to the villa and run us to the train station....

"Beautiful and relaxing setting. The hosts were lovely and helpful. In addition to advice on local tourism and restaurants were treated with fresh produce from their orchard out back. We always looked forward to returning to the Villa after a day of exploring the local sites. Note that getting to the villa requires a car and a comfort level in driving Sicilian back roads. Make sure you arrive in the day time. "

"The outdoor area was spectacular - gorgeous views, beautiful pool and lots of seating areas. We also enjoyed the large well equipped kitchen and spacious living/dining room area. The bedrooms were small, but the beds were comfortable and each had an ensuite toilet and shower. Be aware that the final kilometre to the property is on a narrow bumpy road, and that the toilets are very small and the lights are hooked up to noisy fans, if that's the kind of thing that may bother you or your partner! ...

"We had a family vacation with 5 adults and 2 kids. This house was an excellent choice. Lots of space for everyone, comfortable beds, kids toys, well equipped kitchen and beautiful pool and outdoor space. Communication with host was excellent. It’s a tiny town but close (30min drive) to bigger places. A cute gelato place with in town. If you’re looking for some chill family time in a beautiful location this is your house. "

"Villa Cottone was a very nice stay for our family and to celebrated my birthday with my children and granchildren. Lia arranged a sicilian chef to prepare an excellent diner at the villa. We enjoyed it. The house was very clean, the rooms and the beds very comfortable, it was pure luxe to have our own private bathroom. Straßen waren wegen der andauernden Regenfälle überspült, unterspült und mit Schlamm und seegroßen, knöcheltiefen Pfützen kaum befahrbar. Glückerweise sind wir in der Abgeschiedenheit nicht liegen geblieben. Parallel läuft eine Beschwerde und die Forderung der Mietrückzahlung und einer Entschädigung, weil wir sofort eine andere Übernachtungsmöglichkeit bräuchten.
