  • Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present "Dolce Tempo"! This home sleeps up to 6 adults and 3 children.

    This light-filled, 2100 sf home with verdant garden views rests in a quiet neighborhood near Carmel Point.

    Open floor plan living and dining areas, including outdoor seating, make gathering easy and enjoyable. Enjoy a walk to the beach or take a short drive to downtown Carmel where you will find galleries, shopping and restaurants to delight. The famed Carmel Mission Basilica Museum is also within easy driving distance.

    Enter directly into the Living Room, featuring plenty of seating with a large flat screen TV with cable service and a wood burning fireplace. Access the patio with outdoor seating and a gas grill through the sliding glass door.

    Located off the main living room, the open plan dining room seats six guests comfortably. Exit to the patio with outdoor seating and a gas grill.

    Fully-equipped Kitchen with pantry and bar seating for 3 includes a drip coffeemaker, additional bar sink and separate drink or wine refrigerator and a laundry area.

    The fenced patio area off the living and dining rooms features seating for 6, and a gas grill.

    In an open plan design with the kitchen, the family room features a wood burning fireplace and large flat screen TV with cable service. Secreted behind a bookcase lies a hidden room! Visit with the chef and enjoy a glass of wine at the kitchen bar, with seating for 3.

    Bedrooms and Bathrooms
    Bedroom #1 features a king bed and an en suite full bath with a shower over a deep soaking tub with jets. Skylights provide ample natural light.
    Bedroom #2 includes a king bed and is steps away from a full bathroom with a standing shower.
    Bedroom #3 is located off the pantry and laundry room and accommodates 4 sleepers. This bedroom features a twin day bed with an optional pull out twin trundle. A twin/twin bunk bed provides two more beds. Completing this room’s unique and convenient offering is an en suite full bath with a standing shower.
    Bedroom #4 is a cozy space located just off the family room and features a twin day bed with an optional pull out trundle.

    Laundry center is located just off the pantry and kitchen.

Very clean, convenient and cozy house. Good setup for kids. Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is a great host, extremely responsive, clear instructions, very helpful.

We had a great stay at this house for our girls weekend!! The house was in a great location, walkable to both the beach and restaurants and shops downtown. The house was also well stocked and very clean.

Great location for acres to Carmel River Beach. Bright and open, accommodated 6 adults nicely. Kitchen needs to be inventoried and the pillows aren’t great, but overall it’s a great space for a group.

It was a lovely place to stay overnight for my 30th birthday weekend, with the beach right down the street and Carmel so close by it was a perfect experience. 10/10!

Beautiful Home / Perfect Location

This home is perfect for a family getaway. Lots of space - both for communal gatherings and privacy. Great location to walk to the beach or short drive to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Carmel Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful weekend stay at Dolce Tempo. The home was incredibly clean, fresh and comfortable. Nothing 'icky' about anything, and I am rather picky. It was a happy house with great natural light, access to the outdoors, nice little kitchen, cheerfully decorated. To go into town (which is close but not quite walking distance), we just took Ubers to avoid the hassle of parking-- it was totally worth it. Located in a nice neighborhood and close to a beach for morning walks. We plan to re-do this trip next spring and stay here again.

amazing place

well-appointed place, very nice and modern and bright, close walk to beach, on a quiet street, very short drive to main city in Carmel but also quite close to Monterey and to get onto drive to Big Sur. Plenty of space for kids and gathering, etc. would definitely stay again!
