This two-story, 2BR/2.5BA coastal retreat offers an unparalleled experience with the living and kitchen areas situated on the top floor, providing the best views in Cardiff by the Sea. The elevated location allows for panoramic ocean views stretching from Dana Point to La Jolla, making it a truly magical vantage point to soak in the coastal beauty.

As you ascend to the top floor, you'll be captivated by the vaulted ceilings and the expansive great room, creating a spacious and airy atmosphere for relaxation and entertainment. The fully-equipped kitchen invites you to prepare meals while enjoying the scenic surroundings. Step out onto the wrap-around view decks, where you can unwind and revel in the breathtaking vistas, creating lasting memories against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.

The lower floor houses the two inviting bedrooms, offering a serene retreat for a peaceful night's sleep. The thoughtful layout ensures privacy and comfort, making it an ideal arrangement for families or friends traveling together. The first bedroom offers a King bed with en suite bathroom, while the second bedroom offers a Queen and Twin bed with an en suite bathroom. There is a portable A/C unit available for your convenience and comfort.

Whether you're exploring the local scene or simply enjoying the ocean breeze from one of the wrap-around decks, our vacation home promises an idyllic coastal escape. This house was everything and more. The location was right up my alley - walkable to a few restaurants, a brewery, a market and the beach. Beautiful sunsets from deck!! Larger living space than expected. Short drives to other beach towns. Quiet neighborhood. Hope I can come back soon!

The house is exactly how it appears in the listing. It’s clean, open, and the views are amazing. We loved our stay and didn’t want to leave. Opening up the windows and large folding glass door in the morning to let the breeze in and sitting on the deck with a coffee was a highlight of the stay. You can walk to coffee, the market, and the beach super easily. The parking space out front was great for our truck. One thing to note, there are a lot of stairs to get from the street to the upper level, it wasn’t an issue for us by any means but if you struggle with stairs it could be a bit cumbersome. All in all, one of our favorite VRBO that we have stayed in, in any location. We loved it.

Exceptional rental in Cardiff

Great location. Amazing views. Super clean. Comfortable beds. Fully stocked kitchen. Everything you could need for a weekend away. Property manager was super responsive. Definitely recommend this place. Hope to be back soon.

Beautiful spot

This beautiful home is perfectly designed as a vacation stay, and feels even larger and more lovely than the photos show. The furniture is comfortable, the rooms are private, the views of the ocean, sunrise, and sunset are fantastic, and the kitchen is well-stocked (we actually were able to bake cookies, and cook some nice dinners here). Though the weather didn't encourage swimming, there is plenty of beach gear provided; we did enjoy the indoor games and puzzles provided. Everything about this place feels generous, comfortable, and beautiful. And Cardiff itself is wonderfully walkable -- to restaurants, Seaside Market, parks, tennis court, shopping, and the beach. Definitely hope to come back!

Excellent property, prime location.

I stayed here for four nights in October and had a great experience. I was in town on business, so unfortunately didn’t spend all that much time at the property, but it was clean, well-appointed and in a fantastic location. I’ve been coming to the Cardiff/Del Mar/Solana Beach area every October for work the last seven years and this has been one of my favorite properties I’ve stayed at. Communication with the host property company was very consistent and positive and they were very responsive. Would highly recommend.

Long Weekend Oasis

Loved the local vibe. Quiet neighborhood. View was amazing. Sunset and sunrise spectacular!! Upstairs was decorated and set up to enjoy the ocean views and be comfortable. Wanted for nothing. Comfortable, cozy, clean and cottage feel. Thoughtfully done. Would come back again!

Amazing home!

We had an amazing staycation here after being displaced due to flooding in our own home. Management had the place ready for us quickly for our last minute booking. The layout is amazing, the location is perfect, the views are to die-for and the house was incredibly well appointed with all we needed to cook, etc. Highly recommend this property and management group, it was such a welcome relief to the chaos we’ve been dealing with the last 2 weeks!
