"This was true old florida! What a remarkable stay with a treasureful of sweet surprises in how attentive and calming this resort is. I am so pleased that I have found this wonderful hide-a-way and will absolutely return. It is not your usual place but if you value authenticity and charm then this would be the place for you. The kitchen studio wants for nothing! Kudos to the management and staff! xoxoxo"

"The first impression wasn’t the best. The room they gave us was not clean and uncomfortable, but the staff took care and upgraded us quickly. The receptionist and velvet staff were great on making the stay very pleasant after all."

"Great view! But the room and halls were so hot. Rooms smelled like onions. Another person staying in the hotel made a complaint and was told it was the new curtains. The floor in our room could have been cleaned better. We had so many moths and beetles in our room at night. My kids saw them coming out of the vents. Unfortunately, it was not worth the price paid."

"From check in to check out this place was great. I met the owners when checking in and I’m pretty sure I made new friends for life. The room was huge, clean, and comfortable. Sitting right on the beach, I’m not sure how you find a better place than Tuckaway."

"We were on the fifth floor They were doing some major carpet cleaning before our arrival Unfortunately, the fifth floor smelled like sour milk had been spilled, smelled absolutely horrible. Luckily, the smell was not noticeable in our room #501. I reported this nasty smell to the front desk."

"A code on the AC flashed and when we let ownership know there was a technician there within the hour:). A block from the beach was perfect. Back patio area could have been raked and cleaned up better but no big deal."

"Our room was so cute and cozy & everything was clean to a T! The bar and grill on site “BB’s beach bar” was soooo good, we tried literally everything on our stay. The coconut breeze drink was my fav along w their tacos! Becca was super nice and everyone had great attitudes. We loved that we could be at the pool and had music going but also just be steps away from our room/the bar/the beach. My most favorite part; who I spent my vacation with!"
