Staff was very freindly, rooms were clean, and the place was very quiet. Great walking location for anywhere in Edinburgh. We never even need a car. Coffee and croissants in the lobby were perfect for on the go. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning an extended stiay in Scotland. "

"Hotel is beautiful. Location is perfect. Comfortable bed. The refrigerator in our room was said to be more of a cooler than refrigerator however everything in it was warm. Not cool in the least. Asked for it to be checked 3 times but nothing improved. Everything else, however, was very nice. The food in the restaurant in the hotel was delicious. Staff were very pleasant. I would stay here again just for the location."
