Nice hotel if that’s where you need to be

This is a good hotel; modern and comfortable, but really in a terrible position. It seems to be used for the first night/meeting point for tours but Shahdara is really not convenient for anything. It’s over an hour’s drive to the airport. If Shahdara is your destination, then it’s perfect!

Hotel Life at Banyan Tree Courtyard Hotel

Hotel is in a prime location for beach, restaurants, shops and transport. Hotel is clean and friendly with very helpful staff. The hotel, pool and grounds are cleaned/maintained daily, room privacy is respected at all times. Management & staff go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant and enjoyable one.

It's a good hotel with basic facilities available in every room. Parking is restricted to 2 cars in the premises. Overall it's a convenient stay close to the beach.

Good stay for a short trip and at a good price

Pleasant stay for a short trip. Rooms were good for the price. Staff is helpful and friendly. Din't have a chance to eat at the restaurant, but the bar looked good. Located right next to Novotel hotel, on the main road. Rented bikes/cars right next to the hotel.

i stayed in second week of May 14. hotel is relatively cheap and near beach. there are good restaurants around for variety of food. hotel's cleanliness was good . but the cable tv connection had disturbances that manager could not fix. No telephone/ intercom in room.

Lovely staff, but hotel badly in need of TLC

We would stay here again ( possibly) because the staff were so helpful. The "restaurant" served excellent food.However the hotel was shabby and run down. It was in a good position for the beaches, only a five minute walk, but was on the only through road which at times was really busy and noisy. However I did feel like I'd been to India which can't be said of some other places in Goa.

Value for Money Hotel right on the Candolim Road

Well this was one of the last minute booking we did in the peak season checking in on 24th Dec'13 and though we would have stayed more but room was only available for 1 day but I'll say got it a reasonable rate as per season People who are not so specific to have a beach view first thing in the morning can look for properties far from beach .You will get it at in comparison reasonable rate.As for local and beach travel if you have a vehicle great else scooty,car or Jeeps are available for self drive on daily rent basis all across Goa My review: 1 Value for Money if in the range to 2K to 3.5 K per night for all singles,couples and families 2 Courteous and helpful Staff 3 Right on Candolim Street, 3 to 5 KM far from Calangute and Bagha Beach 4 They do not have their own parking space for 4 wheelers which could cause some incovenience 5 Cozy Lounge Cafe and tasty food

хороший и тихий был отель. но теперь там сделали 2 раза в неделю караоке.в номере капала вода из кондиционера, и не закрывалась дверь в ванную комнату. в остальном всё очень хорошо, с утра поют птицы. можно позагорать на заднем дворе и искупаться в бассейне, если лень идти к морю

Free atmosphere is good! The towel of bedmaking is lovely. ♡ A taxi and a scooter are arranged immediately. Everyone is good people and it is gentle. It's my house in Goa. It certainly returns to this house again. Thank you~✿

Pleasant experience

The hotel is perfectly located and the service staff is friendly. The rooms are comfortable, nice and clean but not too spacious in case someone is looking for one. They also had karaoke and it was really nice. Overall our stay at the Banyan tree was pleasant.

Good location, quaint hotel, lacks room comfort

It seems like a quaint Portuguese bungalow turned into a hotel. Convenient location... overall cleanliness of the hotel, room and bathroom is quite acceptable, but the room comfort is lot to be desired eg. the beds do not have cotton mattresses, the bedsheet is directly spread on the spring mattress and hence makes sleeping very uncomfortable. Some rooms smell very funny as well. Breakfast is included in room rate, but if you are in Goa, I would not advise you to eat there.. many better options in the surrounding areas. Service was OK, the service staff were generally responsive, however, the owner or managers were nowhere to be seen if required.

Great Service at a noisy location

The Hotel room was good, they were super clean and tidy. The hotel service was at its best. However, the food was not that great. In fact, i would sugest you avoid it at all costs. Also, the location was super noisy with construction right in front of the hotel. This hotel being the only one which does not offer cancellation is not a very good option! i will not go there again.

Very good location

Overall very good value for money. Close To everything though relatively quiet. Very nice breakfast. Stuff's English is no good, but still they do the job. Surrounding neighborhood is not very pleasant, but it's hard to find pleasant one in Goa. Will definitely recommend for off season stay because of their price, though high season prices just okay.

A Quiet and comfortable place, with helpful staff.

Our stay was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Made us feel at home. The cooking was simple and tasty.

Ok place to stay for a day

We stayed just for one day. Hotel is really small. Heater wasn't working in one room. AC was fine. Swimming pool is ok. If you really want to stay then choose various hotels near by. This was ok and quite expensive.

Excellent owner & staff, hotel needs improvements

The owner is one the most professional one I talked to in my travels around the world, or one of the smartest. The hotel did not meet any of my requirements and half of the web site claims. However, the owner, gave us a free night stay so we can find another hotel and complete refund- Wow. After some communication with him, he told me he had an accident so the hotel condition was suffering. He is back on his feet and I hope so will his hotel. Now the hotel: Linens were dirty, no claimed safe deposite box, no internet (broken?), special switch for Hot water without indication - so I had cold shower. It is a low cost hotel with no place to hide during the super hot period of the day. If you need it as a base for tours, a place like this could be OK after they fix it, if you want some R&R pay double and enjoy your stay.
