"After a long cold and rainy day on the Camino, Manuel picked us up in town. This was a life saver as we were so wet and cold from the walk. Upon arrival there was a welcoming fire and coffee and cookies. We felt right at home. We were the only guest so we were able to enjoy the family room by the fire all evening. "Hotel itself was great. Room was clean. Location cant be beat. Staff were very friendly. The only reason i rated it less than perfect had NOTHING to do with the hotel. Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific! Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. "We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable with interesting stone type walls and skylights. We booked a "city view" room, but just be aware that means if you open a skylight and stick your head out you can see some city views (inclusing the cathedral spires). Breakfast was good (not amazing, but good). But the best part was it was just steps away from the cathedral. We walked the camino and it was so nice to finish right at our hotel. ...
