Beautiful country Villa with a small house onsite which together sleeps 6 people

The Villa is a traditional property, newly renovated to luxury standards.

It offers panoramic sea views over the ocean and mountains.
There are two property's on the site but will not be rented separately.

The property is private, and located in a very quiet area, with superb sea views from all rooms.

Ground floor offers open plan lounge diner, wall mounted TV, internet access with WiFi, a fully fitted kitchen including fridge freezer, oven with hob and dishwasher. The washing machine is located in the downstairs bathroom which is prepared to a high standard and includes a spacious shower, wash basin and WC.

First floor offers two bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms and panoramic sea view.

Each bedroom has Security shutters in the traditional manner, both for security, but also to control the afternoon heat and to block artificial light. We do not fit curtains that would block the natural air flow.

Also Aircon / Heating and fitted wardrobes come as standard.

Both bedrooms have a high quality modern ensuite bathroom with spacious shower, wash basin and WC. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and bedroom 2 has a double bed.

There is a smaller house behind, which has a separate bedroom with two single beds and
fitted wardrobes. There is a separate bathroom with shower wash basin and WC.
In this property you have a kitchen area fitted with microwave, small hob, fridge and a washing machine. There is a dining area with table and chairs, sofa, wall mounted TV and full internet and WIFI.

Both properties make it ideal for family groups, or those requiring an extra degree of privacy for accompanying friends or younger couples. This is provided for bookings of up to 6 persons.

Outside is the swimming pool and terrace. The pool is heated all year, and has panoramic sea views over the ocean. The pool measures from 1.2m - 2m deep, and 4m wide by 6 metres long. The sun falls on the pool area from 8.00 am until sunset providing all day sunshine.

On the terrace there is a BBQ, outside table and chairs with seating for eight people and sun loungers. There is an area covered by a gazebo which provides a shaded area if required.

Traditional Madeiran stone benches provide additional seating around the pool and garden area.

There are also parasols providing areas of shade around the Villa, to escape the heat of the sun if required.

At the side of the pool is a large lawn,fruit trees and tropical plants.

There is on road parking with a romantic chapel which sits at the top of the lane to both houses.

Calheta with its beach, marina, restaurants and large supermarket is less than 5 minutes by car. There are some good quality restaurants are only a short walk away, with excellent sunset views. Levada walks are very local to the property. One of the main levadas connecting different parts of the Island is only 6 or 7 minutes away, going uphill. The location is convenient to access the plateau for further Levada Walks within a 15 minute drive, or just to see more breathtaking views. The furthest corners of the island are within a maximum one hour drive. Funchal the main city, is 25 minutes away.
