"I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel! Everything was as pictured online and even better in person. The room was very clean! The shower had excellent water pressure! "I stayed there because it was close to my friend's home. I normally stay inside the quarter. The area is as safe as any other area around the quarter. I was cautious but never felt uncomfortable. The staff was very friendly and very helpful."

"The hotel is a bit older, so there are some things to be aware of. The pool is not heated so it's very cold so you probably won't be doing a lot of swimming. The water tanks aren't very big so for those people who like to take long showers this is not the hotel for you. But on the plus side the location is absolutely perfect it's very close to Frenchman Street and the French market and getting around is very easy because the streetcar stops right there at the end of the line and you're right...
