Welcome to Gloria, our charming condotel suite near Cape Hatteras lighthouse! Enjoy a beach getaway just steps away from the sand, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Relax in our common area featuring a lounge room with a foosball, TV, and comfy couches. Take in the breathtaking ocean view from our deck, equipped with lounge chairs and tables. Book now for the ultimate coastal experience!

The lobby and the deck area are shared by you and other guests.

Our property features a spacious layout with a king-sized bed for luxurious comfort, a cozy couch for relaxing, and a TV for entertainment. The addition of a microwave and mini fridge offer convenience for quick meals and snacks. The bathroom, complete with a tile shower, add a touch of elegance to the space.

Adorable place, close to the lighthouse and seashore . They were very accommodating when I fell ill. Highly recommend .

This was the worst VRBO experience I have ever had! Do NOT stay here or at any other rooms this host offers. It was not at all what you see in the photos. We walked in to find a dirty, unsanitary, unsafe room. This place had hair on the sheets, toothpaste and spit on the bathroom mirror, dead flies on the floor, broken blinds which enabled anyone walking by to see right in, and a door lock which you could move with your bare hand. The property manager told us we shouldn’t have expected it to look like the photos posted on VRBO. She said,”I don’t know why he put those on there” when we showed her the photos. So far, the host has refused to issue a refund. We have reported this place to VRBO , the local chamber of commerce, and the board of health. Beware his many units on VRBO.

For a pet friendly room in was not bad. There were some things like maintenance not being kept up. For example, the water outside to wash the sand off your feet didn't work. The curtain rod came off the wall. The bathroom faucet was loose but still functional. Elkie was very sweet and helpful. I would also recommend a long bench at the end of the bed to kay out clothes amd some end tables beside the love seat for more area to put things on.

Great little room in Buxton, very clean and smelled great when we arrived! There’s a mini fridge and microwave which came in handy, but no table to eat at. It’s a small room, but was good enough for me, my wife, and our dog for 3 nights. The ocean is just a few houses away, but there’s really no beachfront there (see photo). Luckily, it’s the Outer Banks, so there’s plenty of beach nearby!

Didn’t Disappoint

Our stay in Gloria was very good. We walked to almost all restaurants and to the beach. We even walked to the lighthouse! Overall, it was a great getaway for me and my wife. We definitely enjoyed our stay here.

Super quaint little room that had what we needed for the weekend. Wanda was such a sweetheart and was easy to get in contact with. Great gor a quick getaway. Super easy beach access.

Wedding invite

A wedding invitation brought to the Outer Banks. It is the first time we have been to Hatteras Island. The Gloria room fit our needs perfectly. We were able to be on the beach one day, do a little shop hopping in the rain, catch up with other wedding guests and celebrate the couple. A great trip. As a t shirt design said Hatteras Island No Bad Days!!!

Buxton Getaway

Clean and centrally located. Right down the street from the beach. And half mile from sound. So close to great bakeries and restaurants and a very relaxed destination.

Great Escape

This property was exactly as advertised! Upon entering our room we immediately smelled how clean this unit was! The property owner, Wanda, is the sweetest lady. The unit is within walking distance to restaurants and beach stores, a short drive from the ferry to Ocracoke and a short distance from Avon. We were so impressed we extended our stay. We will definitely book this unit again in the future. 🌊🌞
