"We were stranded by our airline in Amsterdam so I used Expedia to book a stay at the Ramada. It's less than 3km from the airport and considerably less than the 590 euro rate quoted by the Sheraton. Expedias was quick and efficient as usual. The Ramada front desk person who checked us in was amazing. We were so tired from hours of traveling and his english was impeccable, he communicated clearly and really made us feel welcome and safe. There were 3 of us and there was one room left with 3 twin...

" We arrived at 2:30pm and were hungry for a meal, but the options weren't great until 5pm. The all-you-can-eat dinner was blah, and the breakfast was dissapointing. The eggs and potatoes were actually cold. The bathrooms needed washcloths and more space to put toiletries. The propoerty did not live up to my expectations. The SkyBar was nice."

"Restaurant food was fresh prepared every day. Manager is Davide...great guy and very hospitable. Easy access to Metro which makes the distance to central Amsterdam very easy. Rooms are very small so keep that in mind. "

"Very good stay if you need to be near the airport! Rooms are a good size, very clean and comfortable. You can check in online, in advance, which makes it very quick when you arrive. Free shuttle to/from airport runs every 30 minutes. Just look carefully — the sign on the shuttle is just a sheet of paper with the name of the hotel. I actually didn’t see it until the shuttle pulled away and wound up taking a taxi. "

"Everything about the hotel was really nice. The location was conveniently located close to the airport and they provide shuttle service from the airport. The only thing I didn’t not like is that you had to pay for shuttle service when leaving and going to the airport. That is inconvenient. Normally hotel shuttle no need extra charges."

The location alone is worth five stars — steps from the tram stop and a short walk to the central station, making it incredibly easy to get around the city without any hassle. "Staff is helpful and friendly. I like the flower that was delivered everyday in the lobby and floor foyer. I also like the connecting rooms which is a plus for family travel. I'm particularly impressed by the blanket that is thin but warm for the April cold and windy weather. The location is close to train station. I don't like the bathroom which has a shelving right on top of the sink faucet which got in the way of my head when brushing my teeth. Those should be removed, in my opinion. Also the...
