"We took a trip to this quaint township to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. We love historical sites and this entire tiwnship is a historical site. Also came to experience the Lyceum Theater's play of A Christmas Carol, which was phenomenal and enjoyed a meal at the local J. HOUSTON'S tavern . The cottage was a very fun experience with history dripping in every corner but boasting all the modern conveiences that one would need. Will definitely recommend visiting this little town and...

"Loved the property! Cute place in a great neighborhood. We had a comfortable stay! Nicely redone! The only thing I would say is until I logged in and realized I had a personal message from the owner, i couldn’t get on! The first code I was sent to check in with was not accurate so we stood outside for a very long time trying to get in the lock box. The parking was also a little confusing but I figured it out and parked up front! Thanks for a great nice! "

"Location is great to walk everywhere. Cool place to stay. Kitchen isn't fully packed for hobby cooking. Some pot and pans with utensils. The description emphasized cooking but nothing out the ordinary. Bing oil, spices, foil etc."

"We had a great time at this secluded property! So peaceful and quiet. We never left the whole 4 days and didn't see anyone else! Wonderful connecting time with family."

"What a special place to stay while in Glasgow! Everything was perfect and a special touch to have a local pastry for breakfast for our 36th wedding anniversary. So comfortable and there isn’t one thing I would add. They have thought of everything. I highly recommend! If you plan to spend time in Glasgow there is more to do Thursday - Saturday."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in town for a wedding and it was a perfect spot for our home base. Plenty of room, lots of character and charm. Bed was comfy. Outlets were a little hard to come by but that's to be expected in an older home. Had to deal with ants trying to steal our food in the kitchen but this time of year that's to be expected too."

"I was in town a couple nights with my pup, this place worked out great for us. There was no soap/shampoo in the bathroom/shower....i had to run out and get some. Also, i had to pick up new batteries for the remote. No biggie, but figured i'd let you know. overall, it was nice and clean and quiet........i'd stay here again"

"Second time stay there and still didn't disappoint. Great people and wish I was making another trip but life changes. Plenty of food and what ever you want all around you. I would recommend the Mexican restaurant in Slater the pizza place down the street and the huge burgers down the street. Do not remember the names but it's not a big town. Robin, thank you for everything."

"The wilderness retreat is fantastic!! comfy beds, large bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and cozy living area. The place was very clean too. We came in to visit family and we were able to accommodate family dinners. The staff are so kind and eager to help in any way. Absolutely loved my stay and will be returning!!"

"Beautiful property with very accommodating host! Aaron was very knowledgeable of area and brought out a fire pit for us with wood! The loft was so comfortable and hard to leave when time to go! Highly recommend!"

"Cozy an clean cabin out in the country for a perfect week-end getaway. "

"The house was very nice. It is on the edge of a very small town and so is isolated. My wife and I went birding at Swan Lake for our anniversary and spent the night here. The host was super nice and communication was easy. We were very pleased with our stay. If your looking for an out- of- the- way escape, I would highly recommend this house. On a side note, we had dinner at River Bottoms Brewing Company in Carrollton. I highly recommend it as well. "

"Such a cute, peaceful and very clean little cottage!! The hostess is so very sweet, accommodating and went above and beyond! We couldn’t have asked for a better little mini Vaca. We definitely plan to stay again!!!"
