Our room was comfortable and clean, and the hearty breakfast set us up well for the day. The hotel has a classic seaside charm, and it provided a pleasant base for exploring Whitley Bay and the surrounding area. Overall, it was a very good experience and we would be happy to stay again. "Brilliant pub with rooms. The room i stayed in was huge, with a lovely large bathroom and sofa/tv area. More like a suite than a double room. There is a very good food menu and the restaurant also offers takeaway. They were completely dog friendly, not just "dogs allowed", making sure her every need is met. They were very trusting with guests, allowing us to walk through the bar area after closing, to enter or exit the property. Super clean"
