"Adorable, historical home fully updated & a well supplied kitchen, comfortable beds and great location. Plenty of street parking. The only downside was that there is a bar directly across the street, and the crowd noise goes on until very late. But the backyard deck with the river view was a wonderful place to relax & watch the boats and barges pass by. "

"Perfect in everyway"

"We were lucky to find this amazing property for the Madison Regatta. We had a great view of the river and watched the fireworks from the back deck. The house was clean and very comfortable. The communication between the host and us could not have been better. All questions were answered quickly.This will be our first choice on our return visits to Madison."

"Great communication. Lovely property and accommodations. Everything you would need for an unplugged getaway. Just an hour from the Ark Encounter and The Creation Museum. We really enjoyed the goats, too!"

"Sonshine Cabin was amazing! Our entire family enjoyed the serenity of the outdoors with bird watching, nightly firefly beauty, picking wild flowers and hiking to and through the creek. The cabin was clean, well supplied with everything we needed to enjoy a stress free vacation. The hosts were accommodating and communication with them was easy and friendly. We could love to stay at Sonshine Cabin next time we are in the area. Thank you for providing such a relaxing place to stay!"

"A Peaceful Escape at Carol’s Cabin in the WoodsWe couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and charming getaway than our stay at Carol’s Cabin in the Woods. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that John has poured a lot of love and thought into every detail.The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and thoughtful touches throughout. We especially loved the wraparound porch that let us take in the sights...

"Our family had a lot of fun playing volleyball in the pool. We enjoyed the games in the basement, but some of them didn’t work right or cost money. We loved seeing rabbits play in the yard and even spotted some deer. We would have loved to fish in the pond but it was totally algae covered and had very limited access for fishing. Overall our family had a great time being together at this house with it’s quiet and peaceful setting."
