  • Gorse Cottage ha sido elogiado con el prestigioso premio de oro de 5 estrellas otorgado por el English Tourist Board. Es luminoso y moderno en todas partes, con una reluciente cocina blanca de diseño italiano con los últimos electrodomésticos, así como baños nuevos, muebles nuevos, Wi-Fi y TV por satélite BT. En el salón, hay espacio para todos en el nuevo sofá de cuero en forma de L, para ver programas favoritos o un DVD en la TV de 50 "de pantalla plana, o jugar con el ejército de los juguetes y juegos de siempre, desde el rompecabezas y Jenga para buenos viejos actividades triviales. También se proporcionan una gorila y un balancín para bebés, junto con una larga lista de útiles para bebés, desde un calentador de alimentos para bebés y un esterilizador embotellador hasta una trona y una canastilla Moses.

    Con 5 dormitorios en total, de las cuales 3 son en suite, Gorse casa es ideal para familias numerosas y amigos. Tres de las habitaciones están en la planta baja y una de ellas, la sala de jardín, tiene puertas que dan al jardín. Dos dormitorios Dormer se han añadido más recientemente incluyendo el nuevo dormitorio principal en gris suave y crema, con vistas sobre el campo New Forest.

Ideal base to explore the New Forest

The property is ideally situated just outside of Brockenhurst. As an extended family of 10 we required a property with plenty of space and Gorse Cottage was ideal.We would have no hesitation in returning to the property in future years.

Brockenhurst Get Away

Situated right in the New Forest this 5 bed cottage is ideal for family group holidays. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped this property is in a central location and within easy reach of local amenities and Southampton offering daily choices of places visit. We particularly enjoyed Beaulieu and highly recommend it.

The detailed information before we arrived was particularly helpful and the prompt response to requests and information. The property was very well equipped which was great because as there was a baby in the party we did cook and stay in quite a bit. We also appreciated how well it was equipped for children of all ages and this enhanced our stay.

Lovely well equipped cottage in a beautiful location

Lovely week with 3 generations of family and our dog. House is great for lots of couples and the garden is lovely. The location is great, right oppisite open forest with ponies, foals, donkeys and cows wandering past!

Great house in fabulous location

Had wonderful week in Gorse Cottage. The house is great, and perfect for our grown up kids with their partners. 4 lovely bathrooms! Great location right opposite open forest, with ponies and foals wandering past. Just lovely!

Fantastic Holiday

Perfect accommodation, especially as we had young children staying with us. Loved been in the forest with ponies and cows passing the gate. Excellent communication with owner before our arrival. Everything I could of wished for to celebrate my 60th Birthday,

Perfect property for 9 of us adults on a cycling holiday. Heatwave weather so bikes could be left in the garden although there was room for bikes in the conservatory/diner and at one end of the lounge, and for x2 in the shed. Very clean, bright, spacious property. Good sized bedrooms mostly although the small x2 single bed room has little storage space. No upstairs bathroom. Washing line was missing, apparently had snapped, but we managed fine. Washing powder, dishwasher tabs provided and lovely welcome gift for which we were grateful. Large fridge/freezer, well equipped kitchen, range cooker, coffee machine pods. Superb outdoor seating area, pretty garden, not overlooked. Quiet, excellent location, superb cycling straight from front door every day. Enough driveway parking for x3 cars and x1 just outside gate. We'd love to come again, suited us very well indeed.

Beautiful property right in the forest

Our second visit and as good as the last! Spotlessly clean with welcome gifts to greet us. Beautiful enclosed garden with patio furniture. Bright and airy interior, comfortable bedrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. Ground floor bedroom helps those with mobility issues. Dining area large enough to seat 10 comfortably. The property is a credit to the host.

Lovely holiday

Had a wonderful holiday here, beautiful cottage, garden very secure for my dog which I’m grateful for. Nice and quiet and loved the horses looking over the gate! So sweet! Loved all the bathrooms, never an argument about whose turns next! lol. Well stocked kitchen, all the cutlery and plates and bowls you’d need. Ample room on driveway, could fit 4 cars on if needed we took 3 between us, large family! We had a wonderful holiday.

A great property in the new forest and a very welcome family break

This lovely and very well equipped property had everything we needed as a grown up family. The location is perfect, inside the new forest where walks we abundant. We were even greeted at the gate by a mother horse and foal on one of the days. We would definitely recommend. There are so many places to visit including Brockenhurst itself. The property includes parking for at least 3 cars behind the main gate. Highly recommended.

Birthday Celebration

We especially loved the location- quiet and right in the forest- wonderful walks right outside the door. The house was comfortable and warm. We really enjoyed the lovely conservatory- especially when it rained. I was worried that the railway line passed quite close but we were never aware of any noise. The kitchen was brilliantly equipped- everything we needed to hand. The beds were warm and comfortable and we made use of all the en suites. Our dogs were safe in the dog proof garden. All in all a very good choice for our family holiday.

Golden wedding celebration

Everything is good but the mattresses need renewing. Great welcome pack. A few more dishwasher ‘tablets’ would be useful as only the brand the owners use is suitable for the machine. Label the bins - so that no one accidentally uses the recycling bin as a rubbish bin. Lovely setting and good accommodation apart from the mattresses.

Brilliant for a family holiday

Superb location, literally walk out of the house into the New Forest and lots of nearby places to shop and eat out. The outside seating area was lovely to relax and eat outside and the huge dining table in the conservatory was great for the whole family to eat together. The kitchen has pretty much everything you could possibly need. Everything was really good, would thoroughly recommend and would definitely go again.

Very spacious, well equipped in picturesque location.

Immaculate cottage, finished to very high standard, abundance of kitchen equipment. Stylish and comfortable. Fabulous location. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Family Get-Together for Belated 70th Birthday

Lovely cottage accurately described on website with plenty of space for a group of ten. Location was ideal for all areas of the New Forest and the Solent coast. Owners very accommodating and even arranged some perfect weather!

Great accommodation in the heart of the New Forest

Everything was as it said on the tin. Accommodation excellent taking our party of 9. Plenty of space to do different things in evening. Great walking and biking from the door.
