"Great place to spend a few days in Kandy. Fantastic views, excellent breakfast and friendly owners, who could not be more helpful. I highly reccomend this stay."

"Siisti, hieman historiaakin huokuva hotelli, ystävällinen palvelu. Ilmastointi toimi hyvin. Aamiainen oli ok. Keskeinen sijainti ml. juna-asemalle reilu 15 min. kävely tai tuktukilla 10 min. Tieto myöhäisestä uloskirjautumisesta ei kulkenut heillä sisäisesti, mutta asia saatiin selvitettyä nopeasti. Toinen pieni miinus usb-latausmahdollisuuden puuttuminen, kuitenkin olimme tänne asti selvinneet 2 viikon Sri Lankan lomalla ilman sikäläistä adapteria."

"My room was spacious clean and modern. It was very safe and quiet. Breakfast was provided and was excellent. It is located 15 minute walk up steep road from city centre. Easy walking down and cheap uber tuk tuk ride back up the hill after leaving city center. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Kandy."

"We had a short stopover at Blue Mountain. The view was fantastic! The hotel invested in good quality fixtures: the rooms are spacious, the pool and garden terrace very nice and the bathroom with a view worth it. It’s overall comfortable and clean. Food served was also good and staff was attentive to our needs. I would rank Blue Moutain higher than most accommodations in Sri Lanka, and it would need just a bit more efficiency and attention to details to qualify for high-end. "

"We had the most wonderful stay at the Coffee Bungalow. The building, which has been beautifully restored and appointed, sits in arguably the best location above Kandy and the warm and elegant hospitality was memorable. We cannot recommend more highly! I was shocked to see a negative review in my name which most definitely did not come from me. Beware of hacks. "

"This is a nice little hotel in a great location. Our room was large and comfortable. Things were clean and the staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was good. And you have your choice of a western breakfast or a Sri Lankan breakfast."

"Hotel was comfortable, safe, and they had onsite driver accommodations (apparently a thing in Sri Lanka). We didn't get to stay here long enough, and there was a festival that made the streets incredibly crowded. I wish we had the chance to explore the area more, however we made our way down (per the hotel's recommendation) to dinner at Hideout Lounge, and then back to the hotel. "When we arrived the hotel was closed. We were given no notice. We were concerned as we had already paid for the hotel. A security guard directed us their sister hotel who honoured our booking which was great but not the experience we expected. I would say the pictures must have also been misleading given it was closed for renovation. The sister hotel was in a great location but very old and rooms not great. Would have preferred to be told and have booked elsewhere. "

"Gorgeous rooms and beautiful owners. Kumari & Joseph are so accomodating. The bus stops right in front of the path to the hotel, followed by an uphill stretch to reach the summit. So it's an easy & cheaper access to the city by bus. Highly recommended place to stay. "
