Very nice place. Lovely lodge in well kept peaceful grounds. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We reported a faulty light switch on our way out for the day and when we returned it had all been fixed. I would stay again.

Lodge was great, nice decor, plenty of space, good kitchen (fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, utensils etc). TVs had no freeview, which was a bit odd and disappointing to our kids who are addicted to CBeebies ;-)

The lodge itself was well appointed with everything we needed. It felt nice, very clean and cozy. The only thing I would say, not so much for me and my partner but maybe for others that want to watch tv. More streaming apps on the tv would have been nice.

Lodge was good, the carpets were a bit grubby in places and the en-suite bathroom was mouldy in quite a few places, also there were a lot of cobwebs around the ceilings and windows but everywhere else was really clean!!

Beautiful surroundings and lodge

Perfect base to visit Bath and surrounding area. Beautiful countryside surroundings but a quick drive to the city. Lodge was spacious, and perfectly equipped for a group of 6 adults. Lovely spacious deck area. We saw ducks, pheasants and deer from our lodge which was great.

The Lodge was homely and had all facilities and modern. Only thing that would make the lodge a 10 out of 10 would be cleaning blinds in the kitchen and bathroom. It was obvious they had not been done in a long time.

There were a few bugs in the bathroom under the shower. The bed linen didn’t fit the bed very well. The mattress protector kept coming off and I had to make the bed from scratch at least twice. Very few cooking pots and only 1 shelf in quite a large oven.

Lodge could have been slightly more comfortable - sofas so slippy they could be uncomfortable.

Lodge could have been slightly more comfortable - sofas so slippy they could be uncomfortable. Most of the ‘dog’ lodges has a gate but ours did not, so we couldn’t let our dog out unsupervised. He did manage to sneak out to visit a passing dog but luckily came right back when we called.

The stay was okay. Very stingy with toilet paper and dish washing pods, 6 people 2 rolls of toilet paper and 2 dish washing pods for 7 days. When asked if we could get more, we were told they gave us 1 more and said the next time we need to pay for them. Reception closes by 5 pm and no other infornation if you arrive after 5. The bath room wells could be cleaner. The tiles and grouds are quite dirty with black mold. Could use a ceiling fan in the living room and netting on the windows and doors to keep insects out especially at night. My husband left a pair of his Samsung galaxy earbuds and the Apple airpod headphone there and was never found.
