"I loved the atmosphere of this place! It's quiet, historic, and it was pleasant. The only real draw back was the window air conditioner, but besides that, staff was friendly and check in was quick, check out quicker. Parking was either free on street or you could pay $20 a night and park in the gated lot the residents and other guests used. My only drawback was there weren't any sewing kits availability, but that's my fault."

"I took my daughter to see Wicked. We had a wonderful girls weekend! We were able to walk to the theatre, we took a boat tour and explored downtown. I didn’t have to drive anywhere. I also love the free breakfast and dinner! "

"We loved this place! It was clean, very nice, and had a very private feel! The community kitchen/lounge area was really nice and clean. Self check in and out was extremely easy!!! We will stay here again and highly recommend it to any and everybody. A++++++"

"My stay at the hotel was a very good experience. The check-in was very easy and the room was clean and also offered a kitchenette, which was very convenient across the street was a small convenience store, which was very nice to have in order to be able to use the kitchenette. The hotel was a bit far from Central downtown Milwaukee, but was close to a lot of different options just couple blocks away, including entertainment, dining, and some walkable areas. "The people at the front desk are beyond kind. They are helpful, considerate, friendly....I lost my airpods there and they offered to look for them for me. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Everything was superb!"

"Beautiful building in a great location! Meticulously clean rooms and friendly staff made the stay better. However, the front office manager, Lindsay Alberte, surprised us with an anniversary treat and note sent to our room after casually chatting during check-in. Her thoughtfulness has us planning a return visit!"

"Comfortable Hotel. Very pleasant stay. Great room with a refreshing and nicely tiled bathroom. That evening prior to going to a Summerfest event I had a delicious Turkey BLT. I also had breakfast the next morning I asked for a waffle with berries on top along with chicken sausage. The server and the kitchen created a perfect breakfast for me. Thank you Iron Horse Hotel for taking such great care of me!"

"Rick and Laura Sue were wonderful hosts. I stayed for three nights so I got to enjoy 3 of their wonderful gourmet breakfasts. The B and B was lovely with special touches throughout--made me feel like I was living during the Victorian Era. Surrounding neighborhood is not great but the inn itself felt very safe. "

"Very clean hotel. Breakfast had many good options. Hotel was secure with even the lobby doors needing key entry at night. So close the baseball field were already planning to come back to catch a game. Only about 10 minutes to downtown. I didn’t have interactions with the staff but my fiancé did and he was very impressed with their friendliness and customer service. "
