  • Welcome to the vacation of a lifetime! Tucked into the woods, our luxurious home is a four-bedroom rustic mountain cabin that is built in a lightly wooded area, close to golf and the Alpine chair lift to the slopes. You get the best of both worlds- golf and skiing!
    This professionally decorated cabin has recently renovated from top to bottom including new flooring, quartz and granite counter tops, and furniture.
    Main floor has TV with DVD player and a sofa sleeper that folds out to accommodate two adults. Warm up to a New Gas Fireplace in the main livingroom. The main floor bedroom is also off of the kitchen and has a King bed, and a shared full bath just off the living room. On the second floor is a spacious master bedroom with a king bed, hutch with TV and private full bath.The walkout full basement provides a great place for a second family to reside during a stay at the mountain. The third bedroom has a Captain's bunk (queen/twin), TV, and DVD player and the fourth has another Captain's bunk bed in it. This second living space offers a kitchenette (sink, microwave, and a small refrigerator), sofa sleeper, and an entertainment center for kids to play on rainy days.
    There are a stackable washer and dryer in the unit.
    Our cabin has a gourmet kitchen and amenities include coffee maker, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, range, dishwasher, dishes, cooking utensils. There are lots of windows and an incredible view of northern Michigan from the living room.
    This condo is a short walk to a ski trail that you can take down to the Alpine chairlift. This property utilizes a chairlift with a lift schedule that weather dependent and is subject to change. Please access the Boyne Mountain website to view the lift schedule.

    The Area:
    Boyne Mountain is a golfer and skier's paradise offering the top-rated skiing and snowboarding and golf courses in the Midwest. Boyne also has one of the largest water parks in the Midwest, tennis courts, Deer Lake/Beach, and several dining options. Golf, skiing and snowboarding lessons are available at the resort. We highly recommend purchasing lift tickets, ski rentals and booking tee times for golf in advance. For details regarding resort amenities, please contact the resort directly for pricing on their day passes and lift tickets.
    Deer Lake is a public lake for you to enjoy, and 7 miles away is Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City.
    Looking for a Day Trip? Visit Mackinac Island or Sleeping Bear Dunes. These are just a few options during your visit in Northern Michigan!

Amazing Cabin Getaway

This cabin was amazing! The hot tub on the upper deck was a selling point for us. The cabin was well stocked with all necessary items and the property manager was quick to respond to any questions or concerns! Will definitely stay here again for our yearly getaway to Boyne.

Great location and size of house easily accommodated our party of 9. Hot tub was a nice amenity. Bedrooms need some sort of dresser/small console table to sit things on (wallet, glasses, keys). No where to unpack anything-had to live out of a suitcase on the floor during our stay.

Great House for a Weekend Getaway to Boyne

Beautiful property on the side of the mountain. Clean, spacious, and perfect for my group of 10. Easy check in/out with little check out tasks. Enjoyed the hot tub especially with the crappy ski weather, it definitely made our vacation! Would 10/10 recommend

Nice property on the North side of Boyne Mountain

Overall we had a great stay... It's not a ski-in / ski-out location, but very close to the resort and slopes. There was plenty of sleeping room with three levels (and comfy beds), but the main floor kitchen / eating / living area felt cramped for our group of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids). Hot tub on the deck was very nice. Kitchen was well equipped. Free firewood in boxes nearby.

Annual Friend trip

We loved this cabin, it had everything we needed, and had tons of space for everyone. We appreciated that it was stocked with trash bags, dishwasher soap, hand soap and such so we didn't have to pack it all. The only thing that would have made it better would be to have a canopy over the hot tub as it rained our entire stay. Otherwise it was great!

Lovely property. Very comfortable- with the exception of the couch on the main level, which had broken legs when we arrived.I will say the photo of the back of the property makes it look like there is space for maybe a ladder all game or something. It is actually covered in brush. Maybe update that photo? Otherwise fantastic

One disappointment was the listing said 5 bedrooms, however one bedroom was the common space in basement & the bed was a Hida-A-Bed couch. That bedroom had no privacy & in the traffic path of 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom. The living room also had a "Hide-a-Way bed.

Reviewer Comments: The stay was fine but after leaving the accused us of smoking in house because they found cigarette butts in the trash can and now they’re charging me for smoking in the house. I’m not sure where else the butts go but if you plan to stay at any of these houses just flick them in the yard or drive way or anywhere but the trash can. Complete bs will never rent from this place again. Completely absurd!

Summer in Pure MI

Loved the location and space this cabin provided! We used the cabin as home base and ventured to downtown Boyne, Traverse City, Petoskey and Mackinac Island for day trips. It was great for two families and the basement bunks were fun for kids. Deer Lake Beach and the fire pit at main lodge was a fun thing to do in the evening! For the price, especially in off season, the cabin does need some updating/attention: The tile floors in the kitchen and both upstairs and main floor baths are all cracked and creek line nails on a chalkboard when you walk on them. The dishwasher isn’t secured with brackets and literally moves side to side whenever you open and close it, and the spinner came off during a washing and melted. There were ants in the kitchen and we found a dead mouse in a trap. Thankfully the manager took care of both. Obviously a cabin in the woods is prone to critters, but it was still gross nonetheless. Landscaping out in front needs trimming, the bush by the door hangs into the walkway. The hot tub is missing the head pillows, yet the metal screws hang out and get hot/easily scape you if you move against them the wrong way. Overall a nice experience, but likely wouldn’t rent this exact cabin again.

Excellent cabin, great view

We went with family and friends. Its really nice cabin in a quiet community. Kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary things for cooking. Hot tub with great view to relax after full day of activities. This particular cabin is spaced out from other cabins which gives more privacy. Communication was great from "Renee" who was very helpful and great in answering all questions even over weekend. In winter season 4wheel drive highly recommended to visit. I highly recommend this cabin for great family fun. I will definitely book again.

Amazing Winter Vacation

Boyne resort was incredible everybody had a blast and wants to come back next year We stayed in a mountain cabin and it was fabulous everyone had their own space bedroom their own bathroom we had everything we needed it was incredible We will be back again everyone loved it

Great Ski in/ Ski out

Overall very happy with the cabin. The property was clean and ready for our arrival. The alpine chair lift was accessible via a trail right across the street and the hot tube was a big hit. Small drawbacks; the house was very cold except for one room which was very hot, no combination of vents closed/ open fixed this. Also, firewood was not on-site, you have to go down the road to retrieve a bundle. Overall, I would recommend this location.

There was plenty of stuff in the kitchen for us to make breakfast & dinner and the just eat lunch at the slopes. We could never get the fire place going but that was just user error.
