Super clean and bug free room (which I really appreciated). They truly take care of their guests. With so much to do in town its the vest spot to walk around. Their taqueria and cafe are amazinggggg. Cant get over the horchata.! The views all day anyday just so beautiful. The directions arent hard to follow its just left of the cafe and up! Super easy. Amazing check in and check out process. And great amenities within the property. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!! Definitely wish I spent more time there….so I will be back. ;)

The online summary did not accurately reflect the method to get to room. No signs for rooms on gravel road.Close, walking distance to Starlight.

4 sisters all over 65

Very compact. Enjoyed elect fireplace. Good linens. Coffee maker needed replacement & a TV would’ve been nice to have. Nice for Terlingua. Would’ve been perfect for a young group.

My daughter and I stayed here for a hiking trip to Big Bend, and we were absolutely enchanted by Terlingua and our bunkhouse stay. The only regret is not getting there earlier in the day so we could enjoy it longer and spend time at the Starlight Theatre. Walk to the coffee shop for a morning breakfast burrito and enjoy the lovely patio. Then head over to the little art gallery (buy a book written and illustrated by the shop owner while there) and the gift shop by the Starlight Theatre. Don’t miss the Terlingua Cemetary as well! Big Bend is a long way from northeast Kansas, but I hope to return someday and get to stay at the bunkhouse and experience more of Terlingua!

Mom and boys paradise

My boys and I stayed here right after Christmas and absolutely LOVED it!!! Perfect location, fun patio for a bonfire, the property manager was quick to respond, the beds are so comfy and it’s just such a pleasant and property. I would definitely stay again!!!!

This was a unique desert stay with views of the Chisos mountain that were incredible. Would recommend it to anyone traveling to terlingua.

Exceeded expectations!

The accommodations were perfect! Loved the outdoor areas - great view! Didn't realize how interesting Terlingua was - definitely want to go back and stay longer. Perfect access to either the Big Bend State Park or the National Park. Thank you!!

Never Again

The property itself delivered. We were actually the very first to stay there when it was listed. This time there was no host for VRBO. There was a concierge named Sandy. I could not find my reservation so I called every name on the list. My bad I said guest room not bunk room. She flew off the handle and did not stop until my husband yelled at her. At this point I thought I was having a heart attack. She kept calling me by the wrong name and after he intervened she calmed down and miraculously found the reservation. Now we left most of our dinner at the restaurant to find out that the 3 days I reserved turned into 2. So $155 just disappeared. Vacation ruined. She never sent the confirmation email If you book make sure you have your confirmation before you get there. Both of our fault but she was extremely rude and unprofessional.

Great place to stay. Easy access to food. Great views of the Big Bend. Easy to get to Big Bend. I very much enjoyed my stay and if I go back I am going to stay here. What a place! Be prepared for quaint.

Great Bunkroom!

We had a quick one night stay here before heading to Big Bend and our only regret was that we couldn’t have stayed longer! We arrived late so we could not enjoy the area but the beds were comfortable and a perfect nights stay before a big day in the Park. Thank you for sharing your place!

Quirky Terlingua

Mimi's bunk room at La Posada Milagro was perfectly located for our stay in Terlingua. The espresso y poco mor just down the hill was a hopping place for breakfast and lunch. We used the outdoor kitchen for its refrigerator only...we didn't want to cook. We would recommend this place for anyone who wanted to experience Terlingua and the Big Bend National Park. Our stay was a hoot!

Reconnecting with Terlingua

This was a perfect location for me because it is centrally located with amazing views. This clean and comfortable room has so much charm. It was exactly what I needed after a long drive. I did not want to leave and cannot wait to return, Thank you!

The location and proximity to Big Bend Park was perfect. There was a coffee shop serving breakfast just down from our room that was excellent. Terlingua is a very small town so as long as you don't expect a lot of amenities, it's a great place to stay for a few nights.

Mimi’s Bunkroom

Really enjoyed our time in Terlingua and at Mimi’s bunkroom. It was simple, clean, and fit the Terlingua vibe. The open join kitchen worked well in the warm weather.

Wow! Incredible!

The pictures do not do this amazing spot justice. We had the most amazing time here with a perfect location by there great breakfast/lunch spot and don’t forget about the wonderful Starlight Theater across the street! 10/10 we will be going again.
