  • Powdermill Resort economy-level Condo across from the Big Powderhorn Mountain Ski Resort and just minutes from Black River Harbor, Copper Peak, Blackjack and Indianhead Big Snow Resorts.

    This is a top floor two-story condo overlooking a beautiful forested area above the Powdermill Creek just north of Powdermill Falls. The condo was totally remodeled in 2020 with new kitchen, bathroom, carpet, fixtures, and more.

    The kitchen has a refrigerator with freezer big enough for your provisions and perhaps the day's catch, an electric stove/oven, microwave and coffeemaker. The kitchen is stocked with plates, bowls, utensils, pots, pans, and more.

    The full bathroom features a shower with adjustable head, tub, toilet, and vanity. The bathroom is stocked with linen service including towels and washcloths.

    The living room features a solid oak dining room table, with 4 chairs (a 5th is in the closet you can use), pull-out sofa sleeper and LED smart TV with cable package. The closet also has a cot and linens.

    The master suite features a queen bed, workstation, vanity, and additional storage. Note that there is stairs in the unit. No elevator on site.

Lovely loft in the UP.

We loved our stay in this wonderfully decorated loft. The kitchen had everything we needed and the owner was quick to reply to any questions. Looking forward to making a return visit here in the future.

We visited my son a few miles away from the condo, so it was perfect! Went to lake superior and hung out had great food at local restaurants! We also visited some other sites on our way there and back, so we know our great granddaughters had a great time!!

A very nice and cutely decorated place. The condo was very clean and served our needs. The building is a little old and did slightly smell, but it was not noticeable once in the condo. Overall a great place and would stay again!

Another great stay

This is the second time we have stayed at this condo and enjoyed it. Perfect location to hit up the slopes, and easy enough to head in to town to shop/ eat. Had a great two night stay. Thanks!

Like other reviews mention, don't be put off by the building exterior or common areas of the property. The unit was perfect. The loft did get very warm but opening the windows at night helped greatly. This was a very affordable and comfortable rental in a really great location. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely off-season classic ski lodge style condo with nearby access to two sizable cities and some very nice waterfalls nearby with the black river and the porcupine mountains not too far off either.

This well maintained unit had everything we needed. The decor was very nice. Heat for the whole building ran through and was not controllable. The upstairs sleeping loft got quite warm. Temperature control was to open the window. Which worked ok. Parking lot was poorly plowed with heavy ruts.

Powdermill condo

great location! Condo could have used a few more towels, otherwise perfect for our needs. Mostly abandoned building a little weird but nice and quiet!

Close to Big Powderhorn

This condo was nice and cozy. As per other reviews, the grounds are a little interesting, but inside the condo it's nice and was a good home base for Big Powderhorn and the vicinity.
