"I have just arrived home after spending two nights here. I booked the Garden Room which was spacious and had a nice view of the garden. No one over looking so lots of privacy. The room was extremely clean and the amenities supplied very thoughtful. Different teas, coffees, and milks supplied. "We stayed one night en route south It was quite acceptable and reasonable value for money. 👍 clean and quiet room, on-street parking payable between 9am and around 6pm but free overnight, good location in quiet road close to restaurants and shops if you need them, wonderful big bath towels, comfy bed, tea/coffee in room 👎 small room (wouldn’t want to stay more than a couple of nights tbh), £15 for hotel parking, cheap shower gel, restaurant closes at 20:15, lift wasn’t working"

"We literally can't wait to go back. The location is absolutely perfect, the pool is awesome and the staff really lovely. The only thing that detracts is the 4pm check in which they seem to stick to, very rigidly. (Though our visit was during the heatwave of June so understandable if the rooms were taking longer to get ready). The cottage we stayed in was gorgeous and the complimentary minibar a lovely touch."

"This is an ex Ramanda Encore Hotel and it was better then! The hotel is well overdue complete refurbishment and us very tired and not close being worth what is charged for it. The lift is slow and rattles, the staff are slow to respond to requests. One plus that saved it from disaster was exceptionally effective air condition in the room! Parking also a fair price."

"For a midweek night away or to be fair anytime away you can’t go wrong with Derby Manor. The rooms are excellent tidy and cleaned. The staff go over and above to ensure you have a wonderful stay. The breakfast caters for all dietary requirements so you will not go hungry. Would I go back again In. Heartbeat."

"Had an issue with my child’s breakfast. That got a lame excuse but after what was going to turn into a heated conversation breakfast cost for children was refunded. Otherwise it’s a decent hotel in a good location. There are some bits that need attention e.g. door handles in room were coming off, fan was not sufficient to cool room. But we had a good time irrespective of these things"

"The staff were very helpful. The hotel was nice and so its amenities like the pool, sauna, and steam room. They were very well maintained. The view of the town from our room was amazing, I just wished the door to the balcony could be opened. The room was very well equipped with everything that one will need during their stay and it was a plus that they have in-room breakfast service option if you don’t want to come down."
