"I cannot fault my stay, from start to finish it was superb from the very welcoming and friendly Roberto where absolutely nothing was to much trouble, to how amazingly clean and well kept the communal areas were, to the fantastic room i stayed in. I have stayed in a fair few hotels in Bournemouth but this one stands head and shoulders above all of them in terms of staff, cleanliness, location, comfiness of bed and it was so quiet. "Staff were lovely and attentive. The breakfast was lovely and made to order. The bathroom was very nice and modern. However the main part of the room was tired. It lacked any decoration and had a tv that was very old and small. The tv was a bit lumpy and not super comfortable. The worst thing was though that the walls and ceilings were not very sound insulating. We kept hearing the people above us stomp around at all hours of the night and being woken up between 2:30-3 because of people...

"Very nice rooms. I rate the bathrooms 4 because the older lavatories have separate cold and hot water, making it awkward to get any warm water. No counter space for personal care products. Otherwise, nice beds, excellent and responsive staff."

Self check in as such, but only because of our travel time varied, would have been met by owners. "With parking at front, off road, convenient and easy. Hotel 50 is positioned very well for trips into Boscombe and the beach, along with nearby bus routes and restaurants. The room and all areas of the hotel were immaculately clean and well kept/maintained. Matt and Mel are very accommodating hosts, so very helpful and interesting to chat with and went out of their way to help us. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hotel 50 to others. 5 Stars from us! "
