"Room was amazing will definitely return "

"Onsite parking for a fee but secure. Staff were lovely. The room however was dirty. Hair in the shower drain and needed a good clean. Not impressed. In the kitchen if you have the kettle on and plug in laptop (which is what we did) it trips the fuse and you have no power. Not good. Luckily we were only there for one night. The coffee machine in reception is good however again, not cleaned properly. "

"This property was so old, the shower had a big crack in the base, it smelt, the bed was terrible , it had lots of permanent people living there, there was hardly any parking, i would not recommend this propery to anybody"

"A basic but very adequate hotel. No bar and no restaurant (except for breakfast) but honestly you don’t need those when in this area - there are so many eateries and drinking establishments in the vicinity. The rooms are very large and spacious with good showers - absolutely fine hotel in a great location. Not luxury but very comfortable- would stay again. "

"Definitely not for Karen’s but not hostel is. The guy running has great morals and stands up for what’s right. Super easy guy too get along with and makes you feel safe and comfortable. We actually ended up extending due too the 24/7 in house security. Top bloke!"

"I had read some nightmare reviews of this place and was half expecting to see mushrooms on the walls, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the room tidy and spacious. I didn't get much of a chance to use the oven/stove, but the kitchen was well appointed. The aircon fan made some odd noises, and some of the walls could use a bit of fresh paint (general scuff marks), but the space was comfortable. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. "

"St Kilda East Backpackers. We walked in, not one to book us in, not that that mattered, we couldn't stay there. smelt like dead rats, worse than if you pictured a hovel. We rang the owner, and Wotif rang the owner. Both responses were if people want a clean place to stay, they should go somewhere else. I would be very surprised if Wotif allow this hostel to book through them ever again."

"Room clean. Reported leaking tap in bathroom. Not dripping but continually running and unable to stop it. Couch comfortable. Bed comfortable but not stable. When partner turned over in his sleep the whole bed wobbled. Had a beautiful meal at Dad Vietnamese restaurant around the corner. Easy walk to Prahran train station "
