    Wild Rice Lake Rental is the perfect getaway for your family vacation! Featuring 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the sought-after Manitowish Waters Chain of Lakes in Northern Wisconsin, this vacation home will offer experiences that last a life time. Wild Rice Lake offers the best of both worlds being the most tranquil lake of the chain while still providing access to restaurants, bars and popular lakeside attractions on the entire chain of lakes. The home has outstanding lake views, level lake frontage and ample room for your family to relax both indoors and outdoors.

    The renovated Wild Rice Lake Rental has 4 total bedrooms with 2 king beds, 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds plus a La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa, providing a 10-person capacity. The outdoor area features over 100’ of prime lake frontage, a large yard with level lake access, a dock and raft for swimming, life jackets, two kayaks and a campfire pit.

    The main level features 1 king room, 1 queen room, La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa, a full bath with a shower/tub combo, living room with TV, a sun room with incredible views, a dining table/island bar, fully stocked kitchen and a mud room with laundry.

    The lower walk-out level features 1 king room with a private walk-out door to the lake, the 2-twin bed room, a full bathroom with shower, a 3-season porch with large card table & sectional sofa and AJ’s Lounge. AJ’s Lounge provides a great place for the family to gather with a wet bar with full bar fridge & 4 bar stools, counter with 4 additional stools, full sectional sofa and a foosball table.

    As the saying goes in AJ’s Lounge – “I’m not here for a long time, I’m here for a good time” so kick back, relax and have a good time up North at the lake!

    Other amenities include Wi-Fi, essentials starter pack, large movie selection, bath towels, fresh linens, propane grill, firewood and beach chairs.

    Rental schedule is Sunday at 4 pm to the following Sunday at 10 am.

    Dogs allowed on a case by case basis and $200 pet fee.

    Long term Winter rental options available to make this your own fall hunting/fishing and winter snowmobile escape! Available fall until April/May.

Just spent a week at this property. We have young grandchildren. The outdoor space including the front yard, play area (swings), waterfront and sandy beach area are great for small children. The house meets all of our needs.

Great family time

This property was great to bring our entire family together. The grandkids enjoyed swimming while parents, grandparents and uncle/aunt could all visit and take turns making our favorite meals for each other. To top it all off it was very clean and the setting is beautiful and private!

Amazing property! We have been bringing our family here for many years. Always have a great time, from young to old. Never disappointed. The sand beach, kid ATV's, and play area make it all work great!! Nice fire pit for adults right on the lake with a view of the big dipper. We will continue to come back!!

Great family get together!

The property was beautiful to bring everyone together. It was like our own private resort. Kids swimming all day, fishing off the pier, reading on the deck, and a sky full of stars when we are sitting by the fire. This is our fourth year and we all look forward to it each year!

Northwoods Perfection

Our family had the most wonderful stay at Paul and Tina's lake home. The house is exactly as described and the lake is beautiful. The kayaks, SUP, lily pad, swim dock and sandy bottom made for wonderful days spent on the lake. Paul and Tina were super responsive to any questions we had and everything was well thought out. We hope to stay here again soon!

Summer 2025

Plenty of room for our family of 5. Loved the updated kitchen and baths. Lake was very peaceful, with lots of nature. Caught several muskies! But also enjoyed the easy access to the chain and all of the "action" of Manitowish Waters. Also took advantage of the short drive to Boulder Junction and the Minocqua area. Fantastic overall.

Wonderful family vacation!

This place was better than listed and amazing for small children. Our daughter was beyond excited at all the toys, and we were comforted by the baby gates that were provided. The lake and neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. We hope to return soon!

Perfect Place!

This house was perfect for our stay! Great location on the lake, well stocked with supplies and a really well done vacation home. Paul was a terrific host! Very responsive, and when the dishwasher broke, he had a new one installed within a day. We also enjoyed all the water toys (canoe, kayaks, SUP and swim mat) and had s’mores by the fire every night. We would definitely book again!

family summer vacation

everything was as noted...great house with everything we needed. the multiple sitting areas and large kitchen area allowed us to spread out. lake is quiet as it is at the end of the chain but it also means a lengthy trip to the other lakes (1.5 hrs to Rest Lake on a pontoon boat). use of garage was very appreciated

Fun family week!

3 families, along with 2 grandkids for a week in beautiful northern Wisconsin. This property allowed all of us to come together for the week. Taking turns cooking in the large kitchen and sharing meals with an amazing view of Wild Rice Lake. Swimming, sand toys, canoe, kayak, paddle board and Maui Matt kept us all enjoying each other’s company. A real winner of a home!

Dream Vacation

This is our 2nd time staying at this house on Wild Rice Lake. We absolutely love this place. The house has everything we needed and the lake is nice and quiet. We watched sunrises while drinking coffee, we spent our days boating, fishing, kayaking and playing in the water. We ended our days with lots of laughter around the fire. Eagles flying overhead, loons calling and stars galore. Such a relaxing vacation. Our hearts are full. We will be back!

Up North Family Fantasy

Week up north with 4 adult children and 3 grandchildren (ages 3, 6, 7). We all were thrilled with the home, the lake access, the dock for fishing, the kayaks, and the garage filled with an amazing assortment of toys. The kitchen offered all that we needed and more, including the electric griddle for morning pancakes. We couldn’t have been happier. Thank you for making this house available.

A comfortable stay on a peaceful lake

Our multi-generational group enjoyed a week “up North” with the right amount of amenities and activities. The lake was perfect for our pontoon and boat-related adventures; we even canoed/kayaked the river. The house was spacious and cozy. We especially appreciated the updated bathrooms, comfy couches and large kitchen. One of us is training for a marathon and the surrounding roads were perfect for long and short runs. Manitowish Waters is a cute little town with great bike trails and coffee; we’d recommend bringing bikes. I’m sure the fall colors are amazing.

Great Property & Location

The property is nicely appointed and has everything needed for your stay; Love the decor, too. We had 2 families and it was plenty of space inside and out so as not to be too "cozy". Our group would have liked a TV down in AJ's Lounge for some separate movie watching in the evenings, but everything else available for use was excellent and easily accessible. The yard and beach were great fun for us all and safe for the "littles". NOTE to SELF: Re-read the rental agreement b/4 your stay regarding the garbage policy. (We followed the binder rules to put in the garage recycle cans, but forgot about the garbage pickup day noted in the rental agreement & to take to the end of the driveway early Thursday).~ So sorry

Sept 2021 Wild Rice lake

Had a great time, we were able to see our whole family over the week stay ,including our 3-month- old granddaughter.lakeside frontage and approach great with a sandy beach, boat launch within minutes from house,access to manitowish lake chain,well thought out vacation property. Only thing we would have liked would have been a fireplace and wood shelter for the firewood. Paul and Tina were quick to respond when we had a small snag at check-in.
