"Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. "I spent a lovely night at the White Horse, a very unique and historical coaching inn. The room was gorgeous with a massive comfy bed, a lovely sofa and a big clawfoot bath with a shower. It was clean and the lovely bathrobes were bliss. Great quality tea and coffee options in the room were a nice touch too. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The village is quaint with a great history. "Went from a family room to a very pokey small room due to an error with the respective bookings. There is no lift so be prepared to carry your bags up 3 flights of stairs.
