"Though bijou, it was well designed and the space was very well used. The outside space was good and lovely to have the hills around, We did have problems using the very modern microwave/grill and cooker - It needed DETAILED WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS! and we would have preferred an ordinary electric kettle. A corkscrew, too would have been useful! But, we enjoyed a wonderful 2 days"

"The house really makes the most out of its space. Really comfortable and modern yet still cosy. Everything is new, clean and well thought out. Having the downstairs toilet outside is a bonus and also the outhouse with washing machine, drier and freezer - it just frees up so much space. The house instantly feels spacious even though it is quite a small footprint and the garden is beautiful and secure. My parents live in Braithwaite so I know it well and it really does have everything, including...

"This was our second visit to Millside Cottage, the location is ideal , it's dog friendly and you can park your car safely off the road. "Very comfortable and clean, great spot for walking locally or down to Keswick. Plenty of space for meals and cooking or just relaxing. Good pub next door! Car parking is tight- more signage would help - and outdoor areas would benefit from some weeding, but these are minor points. Would definitely recommend."
