    Stay a weekend. Stay a week! All of the amenities of home are included in this spectacular apartment-on-the-water in the heart of Boston's North End. Enjoy amazing harbor views and cool ocean breezes in the light-filled stateroom. Invite friends over for drinks on the enormous deck. This is truly Boston's most unique and memorable vacation experience.



    Unlike other boats, HouseBoat Capricornus offers unparalleled comfort and convenience in a beautifully designed, spacious cabin.



    The Neighborhood:

    Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Boston at Lewis Wharf, this boat is just steps away from the New England Aquarium, Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall, the North End, Boston Garden, a public ice skating rink, and countless other things to see and do.



    Getting Around:

    Short walk (less than 10 mins) to Aquarium, North Station and Government Center subway stations



    The adjacent parking lot charges $30-35 for 24 hours (this does not include in-and-out privileges)



    Looking for a different type of transportation? Book a tour of the Boston Harbor with our partners, Red Top Boats, for a water taxi service or boat charter.



    Other Things to Note:

    Because we are in the heart of Boston the only parking option is the adjacent lot "Lewis Wharf Parking" (or any lot in the area if this one is full). Guests are responsible for this cost.

The boat is lovely and very centrally located. We had 2 adults and 2 children and it worked out great but might be tight for more adults. The few issues we had were quickly remedied by the rental people who were very responsive. I would certainly recommend this to families with children. Unfortunately the weather was too cold to enjoy the upstairs deck.

So glad we chose to stay here! Houseboat was roomy, had everything we needed. Enjoyed dinner on the roof deck, amazing city views. Checkin was easy, parking right next door was convenient. Highly recommended!

Check-in was easy. Great location. Patio deck was really nice. Accommodations were fine. Small bathroom/shower but it definitely served its purpose. Way better than staying in a hotel room. Would stay here again.

Great way to stay in Boston! It was clean and up to date and near everything North End. Parking was so easy. Keep in mind you are on a boat - I would suggest a pump out after each stay. I will book again the next time I’m in Boston.

Great spot in the heart of the North End of Boston! Able to walk to all the major tourist destinations. The spot is in a gated marina, with beautiful views of the adjacent yacht club, city lights, and harbor traffic.

Great Experience

I loved the location. I was able to walk all over downtown. It was nice to go back to the boat and be able to relax and not be in a hotel room. The area is quite and safe.

Great Location!

We stayed with our family of 4 - had a great stay. The location is perfect. We would definitely stay again. Our only issues were that the bed in the 2nd bedroom is pretty small for 2 adults and the fold out couch was not comfortable for sleeping and only had room for 1. Also, the boat listed a bit. It could use some large bowls in kitchen.

Great spot

Enjoyed our quiet, off season stay on the houseboat. The deck was a great spot to watch the ferry boats. A pretty view day or night. Compared to a sailboat, the shower and bathroom were roomier than expected. A short walk to the NE Aquarium, Haymarket, Quincy market and the North end for great food.

great, as listed property. Location was key for us, and if you want waterfront/n.end, this is for you. The breeze off the harbor was nice (as it was in 90s). Fun and different type of stay!

Houseboat stay

This was a fun place to stay. Drinks on the roof overlooking the city at night cant be beat.This was very centrally located. Parking fees were pretty pricy. Be prepared to drag your bags to the wharf and the houseboat.
