"I don’t usually leave review but this was the worst stay I’ve ever experience. The check in instruction is horrible. It doesn’t say where we should check in and the front desk doesn’t pick up the phone when I called. It just give me the time and hour of operation and phone number. When we got there we went drive around looking to check In. During that time we went through the gated entrance which we though its part of the resort but turn out it wasn’t. "Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at on a vacation.
Bed wasn’t comfortable, water pressure in shower was nonexistent, room was hot with no ac, when windows were open the road noise was too loud. Tyrannical owners more worried about patrons smoking in the parking lot rather than cleaning the rooms on a regular basis. Didn’t have room cleaned the entire week. I won’t be back."

"We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
