"The location of the guest house is near the beautiful botanic garden and if you don’t mind a bit of a walk, you’re on the Eoyal Mile within half an hour. Keiko was a wonderful host and the room was nice. "

"We had a lovely time. From the moment we were greeted at reception on the first day till the day we left. Everyone was so nice and couldn’t have done enough for us. Our 2 dogs were made so welcome and our dining experience wasn’t reduced in any way because of them. Harriet should get a mention as nothing was too much trouble for her. It was also lovely to meet the owner Bill who made sure everything was running smoothly. We cannot empathise how fabulous the food was. Simply amazing. An excellent...

"We really enjoyed the beer garden in the afternoon. The wait staff at the bar, dinner and breakfast were very good. The room was a little small but very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice too. We’d definitely recommend this hotel."

"What a beautiful property with a gorgeous room! We also enjoyed the extra rooms: library, music, etc. They were decorated very nice; we felt like we were staying in a castle! The staff were helpful and professional. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked. A perfect place to stay about 10 minutes drive from a park and ride into Edinburgh."

"Brilliant staff - the lady on reception was outstanding, the room beautifully presented and and a fantastic bathroom and high quality bed. It was sincere and lovely representing Edinburgh perfectly"

"Comfy, modern and quiet rooms. Clean and updated shower/bathroom. The property is tucked away surrounded by idyllic gardens and picturesque vistas with castle-like buildings nearby. Very convenient bus stop down the street. Top-notch staff are attentive and there's a chic bar area for a night cap."

"Lovely stay in a nice spacious and clean room. Comfortable beds. Great atmosphere with very friendly staff and last but absolutely not least the Tunnock Teacakes (a kind of milk chocolate mallow) left for us both in the room and in the reception - they are now the official “taste of Scotland” for us."
