"We have family about 30 min away. The location was perfect. We did get a little lost finding the villa but the host Valerie helped us all the way. Valerie was amazing she couldn’t do any more for us. I would recommend not arriving in the dark unless you know the area. The views are amazing you could never get bored! You will need a car to get around the roads are so quiet and so smooth to drive on (we have lots of pi holes were we live). Great if you love cycling like my partner he rented a bike...

"We had a wonderful stay. Dr Carlucci’s property is fantastic. Built by his grandfather and lovingly restored recently, Villa Carlucci met all of the needs of our American family while we visited our Abruzzese family. The many bedrooms and baths accommodated our children and grandchildren perfectly. The pool and grounds were an added bonus. We highly recommend Villa Carlucci, Dr and Mrs Carlucci and would definitely return. Mille grazie."

"Lovely little mezzanine apartment. Rob and Lynda were very welcoming and the apartment was cosy. The pool was beautiful and shared with the other two apartments and our hosts, but no one was ever there at the same time. Stunning views from the patio area. It is a 10 minute drive to the local village, Casoli, which I a lovely little town, so you can’t just walk to a local bar or restaurant, but you do have all the facilities to cook in the apartment if you so wish. 100% would stay agin!"

"Nous avions l appartement de l etage avec une grande terrasse. Elle etait tres agreable! L endroit est tres propre et est tres fourni au niveau accessoires de cuisine. Les espaces sont grands et bien entretenus. L endroit est tres bien situé et en meme temps au calme. Merci Giacinta."

"Spacious house, nicely equipped, perfect for two families travelling together. We hade a great time relaxing by the pool, enjoying the beautiful views and having great meals on the patio. Peter, the host, was very easy to get a hold of, answering all our questions and helping us out. Dina was the perfect neighbour. We can highly recommend this villa. "La casa è perfetta, non manca nulla ed è tenuta in maniera splendida. La zona è ideale come punto di partenza per chi vuole visitare il parco del Gran Sasso. Il paese è molto piccolo e mancano alcuni servizi utili come il bancomat, ma comunque nei paesi vicini si trova tutto. Se dovessimo tornare in Abruzzo torneremo sicuramente ad Ofena."

"Great house in charming medieval town. This house has four floors and a roof terrace. There are a lot of stairs, but we knew about them ahead of time, and it was not a problem. We shopped at local shops, which are very close by, and made several lunches and dinners in the ground floor kitchen. Very well stocked with everything we needed. The town has many restaurants within an easy walk. We spent time at the nearby lake, renting a boat and having an aperitif. There are many churches to explore...
