  • Espectacular casa frente al mar con incomparables vistas panorámicas desde San Francisco, a Stinson, al arrecife de Duxbury. Considerada por la mayoría como la propiedad con vista más espectacular en el área, la casa fue diseñada por el famoso Arquitecto del Área de la Bahía Edward B Page a principios de la década de 1960. Es un hermoso ejemplo de la arquitectura moderna de mediados de siglo y creo que es la única casa que diseñó en Bolinas. Está ubicado en una amplia parcela de casi 2 acres frente al mar con grandes patios cercados y nivelados, a solo un corto paseo de la playa y del pueblo de Bolinas. Esta casa de 3 dormitorios (más den), 2. 5 baños es perfecta para una familia o parejas que buscan lo último en relajación y privacidad. Disfrute de la playa (Bolinas o Stinson), el surf, las caminatas mágicas en los senderos de Palomarin, la marea en la playa de ágata ....... o conduzca menos de una hora hacia el centro de San Francisco o el centro de Napa Valley. Bolinas es una joya ...

    El piso principal está decorado con buen gusto con muebles cómodos, es de concepto abierto, la sala familiar, el comedor y la cocina tienen enormes ventanas con vistas a las olas y las vistas. El dormitorio principal (cama queen) tiene vista al pacífico y hay otros 2 dormitorios, uno con una cama queen sobre litera, el otro con una cama queen, más 2 1/2 baños. Abajo hay una gran guarida para ver películas (los niños tienen su propio lugar para relajarse) ... las puertas del patio se abren a una enorme área de césped frente al mar. **** Hemos agregado un oceafront 6 personas frente al mar SPA *****

    Sumérjase en la enorme bañera de cobre y disfrute de las vistas de los surfistas y los sonidos de las olas rompiendo debajo, relájese junto a la hoguera frente al mar por la noche o disfrute de los amplios patios cercados y nivelados ... nunca querrá abandonar este lugar especial.

    Las habitaciones están amuebladas con nuevos muebles de diseño de lujo, como nuestros fabulosos sofás seccionales de piel de oveja, que son maravillosos para acurrucarse y disfrutar del fuego ... mientras contempla el Pacífico ...

    Suministramos toallas de baño turcas y ropa de cama de lujo, colchones Tempur Pedic de primera línea. El interior tiene chimenea de leña, calefacción eléctrica, (2) televisores inteligentes Samsung HD, DVD / Blu-ray, internet inalámbrico, horno de microondas, estufa eléctrica, cafetera Nespresso / capuchino, tostadora, exprimidor, prensa de panini, procesador de alimentos, olla de barro / olla a presión, cafetera, plancha, tabla de planchar, cubiertos, vajilla, aspiradora, lavavajillas, frigorífico, lavadora y secadora. La cubierta tiene una parrilla de gas Viking, mesa de comedor al aire libre con chimenea y sofás / sala de estar al aire libre .....
    Nuestra cocina totalmente equipada viene con la mayoría de todos los artículos no perecederos que necesitará cocinar como especias, cápsulas nespresso / espresso, etc.

Everything was perfect! And we had a full moon so got to see the ocean into the night! The disappearing sliding doors made us feel like we were outside all of the time and the weather was perfect and the waves were perfect rollers for the surfers in the group! Bedding and bed comfort in rentals is really important to me and on our last day I was looking for tags so that I could buy them for my own home ;) it was a magical spot for the family gathering and my moms 85th birthday!

The smoke alarm in the upstairs hallway went off the first night - needs batteries!Loved the outdoor fire pit! Plenty of blankets and towels for everyone and the kitchen is well stocked!Needed more paper towels and trash bags. Great time! Loved the evening deer visitors.

This is a great beach house, just north of the town of BOLINAS. The house is as described and has been updated throughout and very well maintained. It’s also very well amen and for us as a family that loves to cook while we’re together, the kitchen was very well equipped.The deck space overlooking the ocean and south with views of the city on a clear day is spectacular. Take advantage of every sunset.We would highly recommend this house and we rented a lot of houses on the northern coast this by far would be one of the nicest. It would be great if there were additional stemmed wine, glasses, and tumblers.

Worked well for our 60th wedding anniversary with our two sons and their families. How ever, we were in the master bedroom and twice my wife cut her leg on the end of the bed where something was sticking out. Too big a bed for such a small bedroom.

Perfect VRBO

This is the best rental we've ever had. The house has stunning views, is well appointed and the location is walkable to town, but feels completely remote! I highly recommend this property if it's available! The fireplace inside was so nice to have and you just can't get over the sounds and views of the ocean. What a treat.

Best house ever!

This is seriously the best house we have ever rented! The kitchen was wonderfully stocked, comfortable beds, easy check-in, and responsive host. And the views!!!! We never wanted to leave because it was so magical to just be there and gaze out at the pacific and the surfers and all the birds. I highly recommend this property. Thank you to the host for sharing their home with us.

The Most Epic View On The Planet

First, about the rating. We stayed during an epic storm that tested the house's coziness factor. A more accurate rating would have been: during gale force winds and snow, the property deserves a 3. On a normal day, a 4.5. The property management team was A+. I messed up the arrival date: SOLVED. A couple of other minor and major issues: SOLVED. IMMEDIATELY. Very happy with their response. The house itself was fairly typical for an older beach house. It was perfect for what it is, but if you want modern, this may not be for you. Two things some people might have issues with: •The house is very much slanted. You walk uphill from one side to another. It’s not horrible, but watch out when opening drawers in the kitchen. Management has said they’ll be leveling the floors. •It is a narrow and steep staircase to enter. Older folks may have an issue with heavy/bulky bags. But the view. THE VIEWS!! Seriously. You may enjoy different views in a lot of places, but you’ll never find anything more breathtaking. Wow!!!! Epic. Kitchen has a great collection of pots and pans. Not quite a gourmet kitchen, but quite well stocked and up there with any rental. Pantry items were not awesome and could have used a re-fresh. Big fridge and freezer. Plenty of bowls/plates/glasses/knives (sharp!) and silverware. Fireplace is on point and easy to use. Hot Tub is clean, gets hot quickly and was the best place to chill and watch whales. The bathtub outside seems more fitted for a cool bath, not a hot soak. It took 2 hours to fill. Overall the property was really nice.

A NIGHTMARE

From the outset, this property was a major disappointment and never got better. There are several problems that need attention, which were not disclosed in the pictures or written description on the property website. For instance: 1. It appears that the pictures on the website are many years old and do not show the house in its current condition, with worn and outdated furniture, poor lighting, heating, and bathrooms. 2. There is no mention of a long, narrow, dark staircase (with uneven, inconsistent risers, which are likely against building codes) from the front door to the main level, which requires the guests to carry everything up to the living area. 3. Unlike other rental properties, there is no informative book on the premises describing its amenities, such as how to operate appliances, how to take the hot tub cover off (which we were unable to do), emergency numbers, etc. 4. Several of the living room, kitchen, and bedroom windows would not close completely, which created cold drafts throughout the house through the entire stay. The windows allowed rain to pour in onto the sills, electrical outlets, and heaters below the windows. 5. We immediately contacted the owner/agent about the window problems and rain coming into the house,y at the latest, but no one arrived. 6. The power went out on the first full day of our stay. We had no hot water, no lights, no heat, and no use of any appliance. We had to forego the fireplace for heat because the drafts were so strong sparks came flying out of it. With only flashlights for light and no assistance from the owner, we spent the entire stay wrapped in jackets and blankets. 7. The flue on the very old fireplace kept closing on its own and would not stay open. 8. Because the house was uninhabitable due to the lack of power, we left early and requested reimbursement of the unconscionable, hefty price we had paid for this supposed luxury home. The owner has refused to honor this contractual obligation. Despite others' positive reviews about the house, the house is truly over-priced for the total lack of service and comfort the renter receives.

Wonderful

4 girlfriends stayed at this property and we could not have enjoyed the spot more. The views are breathtaking and we had everything we needed. We walked to town daily which was a beautiful 10 minute stroll. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Comfortable Retreat!

Believe it or not, the photos of the views listed here do not do them justice. The views are incredible, the property is quiet, the check-in is quick and easy. This is a no brainer- definitely coming back!

Perfect house for girls’ getaway

We loved the extremely well stocked kitchen, cozy throws, fabulous outdoor spaces, and incredible views. Be prepared to watch the tides and the fog ebb and flow and the pelicans fly by. This is a special spot in a wonderful town. We loved every minute.

The View

When you enter the home, and walk up the flight of stairs, you will be welcomed by one of the Best Views in Bolinas! Stunning. We had Clear skies, comfortable beds, and a warm working hot tub, which helped us all to quickly relax, and enjoy our long weekend. The weather in November delivered, as well as the service from the host, as we were provided great communication and easy access to the property. The home is supplied with ample amenities, including but not limited to, plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. This uniquely architected cliff side beach house will be appreciated by adults. The fireplace warmed the house and the outdoor bathtub warmed our souls. If you enjoy cooking, you will appreciate the well stocked kitchen and enjoy a sunset view while doing the dishes after. Plenty of private outdoor spaces around the property to break away, have a good one on one talk, or just kick back and read a book. There is a plenty of parking spaces at the top of the driveway, and we preferred leaving the cars there and walking to the beach (public access stairs are just a few yards down the street.) After your beach time, I recommend stopping at the Museum, meet Keith Hansen, and discover the local bird scene. Across the street you will find Smiley's Saloon, where the drinks are cold and the food is better than expected. Enjoy. ☮️❤️

Excellent Bolinas property

From the views to the various amenities on the property (hot tub, fire pit, etc.), our stay was fantastic. The house is described accurately - perfect for two families - and the property manager was incredibly responsive (and knew the property well). We had a fantastic long weekend and would definitely return!
