From the housekeeping to the management, nothing was ever too much trouble, even though they were extremely busy due to the location and it being the centre of the village, they still made a point of seeking you out, asking about your day and chatting as much as their schedules would allow. "Tried a few hotels in Eastbourne but The View is the best. Great service friendly staff. Breakfast staff are lovely. As is the breakfast. Good gym. I do think the bar menu needs reviewing. The restaurant isn’t always open either. But nice restaurants around. "

"This was an attempt to put a modern air bnb approach to an old hotel industry. Reception was manned only when you called, entry was by digital number pads and the rooms were quiet. Centrally located and walking distance to the seafront. Will definitively use again."
