Great home, with fantastic host support

We had a great stay at Cottonwood cabin. The home was very clean when we arrived, and more than adequately equipped in the kitchen. The fenced in yard was exactly what we were looking for since we brought our pup Mojo. Our son enjoyed fly fishing on the San Juan from the property, and we made several outings on Navajo Lake with our fishing boat. Native American heritage abounds in the area, and neighbor Frank was absolutely our goto resource for everything we were thinking about doing. A great stay!

Fabulous!

We stayed in Blanco for 6 days fishing the San Juan River. The cabin was perfect for us - very spacious and had everything we needed! Close to the river for fishing and the fishing was spectacular! Would love to visit again.

Perfect Family Place

We stayed with our son and his family for 3 nights. It was perfect for us. Our grandchildren loved having the upstairs to themselves. The kitchen was well equipped with even a rice cooker and Air Fryer ( not on website). Checkin was flawless and we got immediate response when we reached out to Ry. We loved watching the bats at dusk and not ONE mosquito!! Beds were very comfortable. Our grandaughters loved Frank next door. Next family get together we are hoping to rent again. Everything was fantastic! Great location and beautiful home! The neighbor Frank is very helpful and wonderful to talk to, the hot tub was so relaxing, and the winery down the road is awesome as well.

WOW!!

Needed a break from the hustle a bustle of life took the family for a weekend of relaxation and that’s exactly what we got. Very nice home, fishing, people your deal with and as an added bonus Frank was a delight a true blessing of a man took time to help get us on the fish and directions for any questions we had just a good human being. Rained all weekend and we still had the time of our lives fantastic memories. We will definitely be back.

This property is well kept and we had a great stay We wereel excited to use the hot tub but didnt, there is an additional charge to use it and you must give at least 12 hours notice. We didnt otice this before our stay. Othet than that i would recommend this property

Winter Fishing Haven

The nicest place to stay if you’re fishing the Juan, this cabin made coming home a treat after a cold day on the water. Special thanks to our neighbor, who shared some much needed coffee grounds after we forgot to bring some! Such a nice stay.

Beautifully located

Just Great!

Lots of trout

We spent the week celebrating my dads 80th birthday! We caught browns and rainbow - took float trips on the San Juan - awesome!! Loved the canyon views, the hot tub and did puzzles. Fantastic trip and great house to cook and have fun as a family :)

The Cottonwood Cabin did not disappoint!

Myself and 3 friends stayed at the property from 9/20-9/25. We were in town for a bass fishing championship on Navajo Lake. The property easily accommodated 2 bass boats and 2 full sized trucks. The cabin was a restful retreat after a hard day's fishing. We found ourselves fishing the lake for 10 hours a day, only to come home and fish in the backyard till it was pitch black outside. Then we would build a fire in the fire pit, and share stories of the day's experiences. That's basically how every day was spent. To those not knowledgeable, the Cabin is on and near some world class fly fishing water. The San Juan River is amazing! Our whole party was able to tie into or land giant trout, right in the backyard. Ry was a great landlord and was always reachable for any questions or needs. Next door neighbor Frank was very helpful to us with his knowledge of the area and its waters. Frank also keeps an eye on the property and your equipment. The cabin is totally turn key, with many more things and amenities than are listed. Our event was pushed forward a day and Ry accommodated us by letting us come earlier. He had to beef up his cleaning team to make this happen, and it did. Our tournament went as well as can be expected being strangers to the area, but our stay at the Cabin will always be a cherished memory! This is the 1st rental property I've even considered revisiting. You will not be disappointed. Thank you "Cottonwood Cabin" for everything!
