"Stayed at Oddfellows for a couple of nights in December. The hotel has a lovely quirky vibe which liked, rooms were clean and the staff were really helpful. Would stay again if visiting Chester. "

"Everything the staff on were so helpful, had a problem with the first ev changing bay but thankfully there was a spare, what’s annoying is people parking that clearly do not charge their car or have petrol park there because it’s closer to the hotel very frustrating, otherwise was perfect stay"

"We visit every Christmas and the condition of the hotel gets better and better each visit. So good to see a property being invested in and maintained. The rooms, staff, food and bar are really excellent. Only very minor gripe - some smoked salmon at breakfast would be nice."

"A superb night away from home in a beautiful area. The Pheasant is immaculately maintained. The rooms are stylish and scrupulously clean. The restaurants, again, are beautifully decorated and the food is perfect. Staff are all friendly, polite and generally lovely. I can’t recommend this place too highly."

"Our expectations were by far exceeded with this lovely hotel. All the staff that we came across was helpful, friendly and so efficient. We spent the afternoon on Saturday in the Nelson and enjoyed a delicious lunch. The receptionist was welcoming and warm and very helpful with queries and organising a little suprise in our room. The room was clean, well equipped and very nicely presented. The bed was bit on the hard side but this is probably down to personal preference more than anything else....

"Perfect Room for a Special Occasion The room was perfectly clean and ideal for a special occasion. Slippers and a dressing gown were provided, along with lovely, beautifully scented toiletries. The wardrobe was spacious and easily accommodated all our belongings for the weekend. We stayed in a Deluxe Room with a King Size Bed and balcony, which was perfect for sitting outside in the crisp January weather with a nice cup of tea.
