  • Convenient & Affordable Near Downtown flat is located directly across the street from the Highland Golf and Racquet Club. This charming apartment is fully furnished for an over night retreat or a month long business stay. The apartment sleeps up to 4 and is furnished with high-speed internet, Smart-TV apps like netflix and hulu, cookware and coffee supplies, and on-site laundry facility. Only a short walk (.5 mile or less) or uber ride to popular eatery's in the Lakeview or Avondale districts.

    The space
    Wonderful quiet 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment with a separation door that separates the Bedroom/Bathroom from the Kitchen living room. Master is furnished with a queen pillow top bed and private bathroom. Living room /Kitchen is furnished with TV, Pull-out Queen Sofa, kitchen utensils and coffee maker. Private balcony with a killer view!

No place to stay

Got to property and it was occupied. VRBO found a hotel for me to stay that night, but it was not clean, so I fended for myself.

Urine smell , heating needed help

Great view neighborhood hood overlooking a golf course. The apartment was neat, but not clean. Upon entering it smelled of urine. The heating needed help, living room was cold most of the stay. The couch was covered in pet hair & odor. Pet stains were in the rugs. Management was friendly. Did not respond to messages but she did call back from a number not posted. She brought over a heater & offered to mop (never mopped). I went to the store bought 4 bottles of disinfectants & deodorizers to help the smell. My children explained it smelled of flowers & old people pampers after I sprayed. Not a good experience but not a bad neighborhood.

Falsely Advertised -HORRIBLE

The property listing states this is a 2-bedroom unit that will sleep 4 people. When we arrived, it is 1 bedroom and a living room with a couch (not the one in the picture). Therefore, it is a 1-bedroom unit that can sleep 2. IF they had the sleeper couch as shown in the picture then it would STILL be a 1 bedroom that could possibly sleep 3-4 people. Tried to call the number to the owner and it was disconnected. Immediately called VRBO as we were not staying in this unit. I was incredibly frustrated as I also emailed the owner prior to us staying to explain that our pregnant daughter and husband are staying with us. DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! STILL TRYING TO GET OUR REFUND!
